Chapter 2316: PULL BACK DAMMIT!!

While Umbrasol was at peace with just some minor mishaps happening every other day, some of the other worlds in Nux’s Universe weren’t the same.

These were the worlds where the ambitious went, people who wanted to rule over all, no matter what it took.

Worlds where things like assassinations, duels, battles, murders, mass genocide—

All of it was an everyday occurrence.

Jiahra was one such world.

It was a Low Level World when Nux devoured it and even now, the strength of the people here was somewhat similar, Nux however, had made one change.

Now, Jiahra did not have one ruler like it previously did.

This was one of the worlds for the ambitious, but one cannot be ambitious if there is a being capable of wiping their existence with one wave of his hand.

And Nux changed that.

He... made it fair.

He placed a limit on the people who could live in Jiahra. Anyone above Saint would automatically be moved to another world and only Saints and those below would stay.

So now, there were thousands and thousands of Saints in Jiahra, beings who now stood at each other’s throats, ready to crush each other to rule above the rest.

This was no longer about one chosen being who ruled others, now, it was about skill, political manoeuvres, and war tactics. A level any being in this world could now reach.

The sky above it was grey, it always was. It wasn’t dark enough to be called night, but it wasn’t bright enough to feel like day either.

It was a dull, heavy color stretched endlessly above the land. The air was dry, carrying the scent of ash and iron, and the wind moved in uneven bursts, kicking up dust that never seemed to settle for long.

Cracked earth stretched across the ground, marked by old impacts and fresh destruction. Burnt patches spread like dark stains, and broken weapons, shattered shields and bodies were scattered all over the battlefield.

That was the new Jiahra.

And in this new Jiahra, in these past ten years, amongst all the battles, physical or political, two factions had risen up.

And right now—

These two factions were at war.

At one end, there was the Ironclad Dominion.

A faction that valued order, structure and discipline.

Rows and rows of soldiers stood in perfect formation. Their shields were locked tightly together, forming an unbroken wall of steel. Long spears extended outward, aligned with precision.

Behind them stood their greatest strength.

Iron Constructs.

Towering machines built from metal and magic, they were bulky and slow, but that made them terrifyingly durable. Their limbs were thick and reinforced repeatedly, they were capable of crushing anything that came too close.

Literal war machines made to crush the enemy.

And that said enemy was the Ashen Tide.

A faction that was the exact opposite of the Ironclad Dominion, a force that valued chaos, movement and relentless force.

Their soldiers did not stand in neat lines. They shifted, paced, adjusted constantly, some leaned forward eagerly, others rolled their shoulders, gripping weapons loosely, waiting for the moment to strike.

Their armor was lighter, their weapons varied, their strength didn’t come from structure, it came from their unpredictability and relentless pressure.

The Ashen Tide did not have literal golems standing behind them, even if a few beings there knew about magic and metal, they weren’t coordinated enough to create something like that.

But if there was one thing odd about the Ashen Tide—

It was the small figure standing at the very front of their chaotic army.

A little girl.

She didn’t look older than ten.

She had long black hair, touched with faint crimson shades. Her face was soft, so beautiful that it didn’t belong in a place like this, but her expression held none of that softness.

She wore dark, fitted clothes suited for movement that remained clean despite the chaos around her.

Her golden eyes were bright and had that sharp look in them. They moved constantly, scanning everything—the broken ground, the shifting lines, even the smallest movements in the distance.

She looked completely out of place.

Neither her size, nor her age was suited for a place like this.

Or at least—

That’s what the Ironclad Dominion thought of her.

They mistook her calmness for ignorance, that the child was too young to understand what was happening here and the trouble she was in.

But that was when the girl raised her hand, the soldiers from the Ironclad Dominion frowned, what was she doing? Calling for help? But...

Why did her face look so... calm? Shouldn’t she be crying if she wanted help?

They wondered in their heads but then—

The girl dropped her hand forward and—

"Charge."

She spoke in a low voice, but for some odd reason, her words echoed throughout the battlefield and the instant they did—

"RRRAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!"

The Ashen Tide charged forward, every soldier rushing towards the enemy with different weapons in their hands while passing through the little girl, who stood right at the middle of that chaos with her hand still pointed at the enemy.

An action that surprised the Ironclad Dominion, they had no clue why the enemy would listen to a little girl.

But soon, the Dominion Leaders shook their heads, it was the Ashen Tide, they didn’t have a pattern, if, for some reason, they brought a little girl to signal the start of war for them, it didn’t matter.

The result was going to be the same—

"FORMATIONS!"

The Dominion General commanded, the troops aligned their shields properly and with that, the first collision began.

"TEAR THEM APART!!"

"HAHAHAHA!!"

"KILL!!!"

The Ashen Tide soldiers laughed as they pushed through, they moved so densely that the enemy shield lines were collapsing at a ridiculous pace.

Yes, the battle had only begun and the Ironclad Dominion was already being pushed back. Its soldiers were dying, their formation was being pushed back.

For the first ten minutes, everything was going well for the Ashen Tide soldiers and they carried forward that momentum and crushed every head they got the chance to.

"HAHAHAHA!!"
