Survival Queen of the Frozen Wastes novel Chapter 349

Chapter 349 Hold the Line

Woody stood fightly gripping bus weapon, yet his gaze kept drifting past the swirling how toward the icefield Drifters Alliance camp in the distance Flames blazed high above the grounds, and the roar of battre echoed endlessly across the wilderness

“Stop staring” Damian muttered, noticing his companion’s distraction “We can’t break out right now Even if we could, charging straight into that crowd would be suicide. Our only job is to hold this outpose and keep this defensive line locked down for her

Woody’s eyes turned red with worry. He nodded firmly, tearing his gaze away and bracing at his strength against the Spike Barricades before them

Both men knew their guild stood on the brink of annihilation. As fellow members, it tore them apart to stay back while their allies fought and died. Still, reason told them plainly-they could never cut through blockade of nearly 70 enemy fighters alone.

“Don’t panic. Wait until they come closer.”

Riley’s calm, steady voice cut through their anxiety like a reassuring anchor, instantly steadying their frayed nerves.

Even with her strength, agility, and all core stats maxed out for the current stage, there was no way she could charge straight through such relentless, all-angle fire suppression. One wrong step out of cover, and she would be swarmed by crowd-control spells and lethal magic in mere seconds.

But being trapped behind cover didn’t mean she couldn’t fight back.

Whoosh-

Riley caught the half-second gap right after the enemy archers finished their volley. She darted out from behind the tower shield, raising her Armor-Piercing Crossbow without even needing to aim carefully.

Forged iron bolts fresh from the workshop sliced through the air at piercing speed.

Squelch!

A WarWolf mage mid-incantation for a fireball never even managed to raise his magic barrier. The bolt pierced clean through his shoulder, breaking his spell with a pained scream as blood sprayed from the wound.

Riley ducked back into cover at once.

Bang!

Several ice spikes slammed into the tower shield inches from her hairline, shattering into scattered frost.

In Riley’s hands, the Armor-Piercing Crossbow was pushed to its absolute limit. Her firing rhythm was razor-sharp; every quick. peek over cover landed a precise shot on another enemy.

Yet the WarWolf players were far from foolish. They quickly caught onto her pattern and sent heavily armored shield warriors to the frontline, shielding their damage dealers behind them as they slowly advanced.

This was exactly what Riley wanted. With melee fighters closing in, the relentless ranged suppression would inevitably weaken.

Clang!

One of her crossbow bolts got knocked away by a heavy shield on the other side.

Chapter 345 Hold the I ime

Five Shield Dearers kept advancing steadily already closing the distance.

A cold smirk tugged at Raley’s lips. She stowed the light crossbow straight into her inventory, then reached out-and her dual aves materialized in her grasp in an instant.

Drawing in a deep breath, her overwhelming strength stat surged to its peak. Twisting sharply at the waist, the hurled her night and with brutal force.

Whoosh

The axe spun wildly mid-air, tearing through the wind and covering nearly 30 feet in the blink of arsye.

Crash-Crack!

The WarWolf warrior holding the heavy shield was rocked by an unimaginable impact, thrown backward off balance and leaving his torso exposed behind the shield.

The axe slammed into the ground right after knocking him down, its momentum still unspent.

Before he could even scramble to his feet, the second axe came slicing straight for his head.

In an instant, his form dissolved into glowing light and vanished.

Riley lifted her hands slightly.
