Chapter 350 Reinforcements Crash In
“Riley!”
A familiar voice rang out right behind Riley.
The next instant, a figure rolled across the wooden bridge at breathtaking speed
The moment it landed, a flash of white light enveloped the shape, revealing Necko in her human form. Without pausing for even second, she rolled nimbly behind cover
She slung a Gust Light Crossbow off her back along with a full wooden crate of tempered iron bolts, set the weapon into the gap of the barricade, and pulled the trigger without hesitation.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
With Neeko joining the fight, their firepower doubled instantly.
At almost the same time, a thick green vine swung over from the far side of the bridge.
The treant landed steadily. It wasted no extra movement, pressing both palms against the cracked tower shields and Spike Barricades.
Hum-
Rich natural vitality surged forth. Tough Ironwood vines grew wildly, coiling tightly around the scattered defenses and locking them firmly together. The vines mended the tower shield’s durability in an instant, while forming a resilient layer of plant armor over the outer defenses.
It even repurposed leftover lumber from the bridge construction to expand the barricade. The once shaky, makeshift stronghold was transformed into an unbreakable forward outpost in the blink of an eye.
The battle froze into a deadlock.
The WarWolf squad leader stared at the suddenly impenetrable barricade and the sudden surge of enemy firepower, his face darkening with fury.
“Damn it! We’re bleeding too many resources wasting time here. The Icefield Drifters are putting up one hit of a fight. If we can’t even take this small outpost, none of us can answer to our guild leader!”
He drew his longsword, a ruthless glint flashing in his eyes. “Mage unit, hold your assaults! Everyone, get ready! Heavy infantry upfront-smash straight through their defenses}”
At his command, WarWolf called off long-range suppression. More than 20 heavy infantry at the front roared, raised their shields, and charged forward in an all-out mass assault.
“They’re going for a full frontal push!” Damian shouted, bracing his shoulder hard against the barricade.
Riley’s gaze turned ice-cold. She gripped her dual axes firmly, steadying her breath to brace for the brutal incoming impact.
Just then, a sharp rushing sound cut through the air above her head.
Boom!

Adark shape soared right over Riley and the others, slamming dead center into the middle of WarWolf’s charging formation. Several frontline warriors froze mid-step in shock.
Upon closer look, it was a giant sword-and its design looked oddly familrar
Riley froze for a split second, then whipped her head toward the bridge.
A familiar figure strode across the snow from the other side.
“Made it just in time, didn’t I?”
It was none other than Tartking.
Before even reaching Riley’s side, Tartking waved her staff straight away.
Warm stat buffs washed over every one of them instantly.
“All attributes increased by 15%! Recover 2% of max HP per second and stamina every second. Repeated healing will reduce the recoverable cap!”
Three beams of light enveloped Riley, Woody, and Damian respectively.
Weariness melted away from Riley in an instant, her drained stamina fully restored.
Damian and Woody locked eyes, both stunned speechless by the surging power coursing through their bodies.
Riley was about to ask where PineappleBeer was.
Roar!
The thunderous rumble of an engine echoed from the far side of the chasm.
Everyone looked up instinctively.
A snowmobile raced straight to the top of the snow ridge. Propelled by its roaring engine, the vehicle launched into the air, tracing a dramatic arc and soaring more than 30 feet across the rift.
As momentum began to fade and the bike started to drop, the slender figure riding it slapped the handlebars amid swirling snow.
