Chapter 374 The Onslaught Of Monsters
Chapter 374 The Onslaught Of Monsters
Up at the front, a hideous lump-like monster came rolling rapidly straight toward the position.
“What the hell is that thing?!” A player from the WarWolf Guild let out a terrified scream.
Riley, NorthWind, and the rest wore stunned looks, utterly confused by what was unfolding right in front of them.
“That is a high-tier self-destructing monster! Fall back! Retreat into the camp immediately! Get close to the bonfire!”

PineappleBeer’s usual cold, unreadable face was now etched with rare horror. The hazy memories lingering in her mind snapped crystal clear the moment she laid eyes on these monsters, and a deep surge of dread washed over her.
Riley and TartKing didn’t hesitate for a second. They grabbed their allies beside them, pushed off the outer wall with their feet, pulled off a double jump to scale the enclosure, then leaned back down, ready to pull more people to safety.
The lump-like monster in the lead moved impossibly fast, gliding almost inches above the snow. In less than ten seconds, it crashed straight into the WarWolf Guild’s front formation.
“Ah! Help!”
One WarWolf mage didn’t even have time to conjure a magic shield before he was crushed by the towering fleshy abomination. Blood gushed out like a fountain.
“Stay in formation! Mages, throw up fire walls! Warriors, hold the line! Split your teams! Don’t let the Hope Guild members scatter!”
BloodWolf watched several of his guild members get obliterated in an instant. Instead of retreating, he roared orders, completely swept up in bloodlust. He’d been moments from seizing the upper hand with sheer numbers, only for this sudden disaster to throw everything into chaos-and he’d lost all sense of reason.
Then the next moment arrived.
The massive monster smashed straight through the light shield without slowing, slamming to a halt right before the camp gate. Before anyone nearby could react, the whole thing exploded. The shockwave ripped out in every direction, leaving everyone’s ears ringing.
Boom-
Splintered wood and mangled body parts rained down onto the snow, landing with sickening, skin-crawling thuds.
Before anyone could recover from the blast wave, the second wave of crawling monsters closed in, lunging to bite anything and anyone in their path.
BloodWolf spun around, hacking apart several monsters with his scythe. He was about to bark out words to steady his allies morale when a cloud of toxic green mist suddenly billowed out from the corpse of the monster he’d just slain, swallowing him whole in an instant.
“Cough… what the hell is this…” BloodWolf felt all his strength drain away in an instant, his reactions slowing to a crawl.
Before he could regain his footing, seven or eight more crawling monsters burst out from the snow all around him.
BloodWolf twisted to fight them off, but more and more monsters swarmed in. He instinctively reached for an item card in his grip. yet before he could activate it, the horde of creeping monsters overwhelmed him completely.

BloodWolf’s dying cry was cut short halfway, drowned out by the grisly, bone-chilling sound of tearing flesh and crunching bone.
The guild leader of the server’s largest faction had died a humiliating death, trapped alone in the monster horde.
Bitter, frigid winds swept the putrid stench of blood straight to the Icefield Drifters Alliance camp.
With the shield and camp gate shattered, the endless tide of creeper monsters surged forward like a black flood, pouring unimpeded through the broken opening.
They moved with terrifying agility, their spider-like reversed limbs scuttling across the snow with a soft rustling sound.
Their gaping maws, lined with dense flower-like fangs, dripped corrosive black slime that hissed and burned through the snow, curling up into pungent white smoke.
“Ah! Help! Get out of my way!
Let me in!”
“Back off! Stop pushing me!”
