Chapter 424 Tripled Efficiency
In its place stood a massive, brand–new workbench carved entirely from an unknown black crystal. Hovering directly above the desk was a sleek, holographic control panel.
The Tool Room hadn’t actually gotten any bigger, but thanks to the insanely optimized spatial layout. ir felt incredibly spacious, pristine, and radiated a brutalist aesthetic.
Riley hadn’t fully recovered from the vertigo of the spatial quake yet. A mild dizziness still buzzed in th back of her head.
She stumbled straight to the Tool Room door, gripping the iron frame with both hands and gasping greedily for fresh air.
Right at that moment, frantic footsteps crunched across the snowy yard.
“My Lady! My Lady, are you alright?!”
Tom and Lily, who had been working outside, saw the blinding white light and heard the terrifying commotion erupting from the Tool Room. Terrified, they dropped their farming tools and sprinted over.
Panting heavily as they reached the door, the first thing they saw was Riley leaning heavily against the frame.
This was probably the first time either of them had seen their lord–whom they practically viewed as an omnipotent god–looking so thoroughly disheveled.
Riley’s hair was a mess, strands plastered to her pale cheeks by cold sweat.
She was panting softly, her eyes entirely bloodshot from the blinding flash.
The two natives turned pale with fright and immediately reached out to support her. “My Lady, what happened? That light just now…”
Riley waved them off, taking a deep breath to forcefully swallow the nausea churning in her stomach.
“I’m fine. Just a little accident during an experiment.”
She casually brushed it off. Honestly, deciding to gamble an epic item card on a bugged building absolutely counted as an experiment.
Tom and Lily exchanged a glance.
Seeing that although Riley looked physically wrecked, her eyes were burning with an unnaturally bright intensity, they didn’t dare ask any more questions.
“Understood, My Lady. Please take care of your health.” The two bowed respectfully and quickly retreated from Riley’s private yard.
Once out of earshot, the whispering began. “An experiment? Does that mean My Lady isn’t just a mage. but an alchemist too?”

“An alchemist? Hard to say based on how she looked just now, though the messy hair definitely fits the profile.”
“We’re far enough away now, she shouldn’t be able to hear us, right?”
Riley rubbed her temples. Although her legs still felt like jelly from the spatial shockwave and she looked like hell, internally, she was screaming with absolute ecstasy!
It actually upgraded!
Sure, the process nearly tore a hole in the space–time continuum, but the results were undeniable. This bugged machine hadn’t been patched out by the system–it had devoured the epic card and evolved!
Zero cares given to her messy appearance, Riley pushed past her physical exhaustion, spun around, and practically sprinted to the massive black crystal workbench at the head of the assembly lines.
She slammed both hands on the edge of the crystal desk, her eyes burning as she stared up at the hovering holographic control panel.
It only took a few seconds of messing around to figure out the new operating logic.
The workbench’s control panel was now split into three completely independent crafting threads!
Previously, when crafting gear, she could only use the workbench itself, while the three assembly lines were relegated to churning out low–tier gear or processing raw materials.
But now? She didn’t have to queue up high–tier items one by one anymore. She could use the assembly lines to craft three pieces of high–tier gear simultaneously!
Her efficiency just tripled!
Without a second thought, she opened her Inventory and dragged the Shadow Spirit Assassin Hood Blueprint (Purple) Pineapple Beer had sent her, along with the required Shadow Mink Leather, Refined Steel Ingots, and other mats, straight into Production Slot 1 on the hologram.
Then, she sifted through the mountain of basic materials she had hoarded from the deep–layer monster siege and looted from the dead WarWolf elites.
During yesterday’s bloodbath, she had been tanking the absolute front line. Because her raw stats were so absurd, her purple–tier Polar Yellow Windbreaker hadn’t been completely destroyed, but it had lost over half its durability. Since she had a brand–new workshop and mats to burn, she figured she’d just craft two brand–new ones to test the waters.
Riley decisively selected two Polar Cold–Resistant Yellow Windbreaker Blueprints (Purple) and dragged them, along with the waterproof fabrics, durable fibers, basic beast leather, and beast cores, into Slots 2
