This area consisted of connected wood–and–stone apartment cabins. Since the natives were currently out working, Riley simply used a double jump to hop straight onto the roof.

Twiggy was just as fast. It didn’t even need a ladder; it shot a few flexible vines from its arms, accurately wrapped them around the chimney, and swung itself up onto the roof like Tarzan.

Riley stood on the roof, pulling the generators from her Inventory. Twiggy caught them steadily with its vines and firmly secured them to the highest peak in a few quick motions.

Then, Twiggy’s roots morphed into fine drills, creating perfect wiring holes through the wooden walls while Riley used the system interface to lay the cables.

The whole process took barely twenty minutes.

Once they were done, Riley walked into Tom’s cabin and flicked the somewhat crude plastic switch on the wall.

The lightbulb in the center of the ceiling successfully flared to life.

Riley ran a quick test on the voltage and circuit stability. Confirming everything was working perfectly, she left the native residential block with Twiggy.

Next up was the main event.

Riley looked up at the Hope Guild base several hundred yards away, enclosed by its towering stone walls.

It covered a massive area, the buildings were densely packed, and foot traffic was high. If she was going to wire up the entire guild base, the power demand would be astronomical.

“Gonna have to install another batch. But…”

Riley paused, checking her material reserves. Sure, she was loaded, but she couldn’t afford to burn through her personal stash like this. She swiped her finger across the holographic panel, directly opening the Hope Guild Public Warehouse interface.

With a flash of spatial light, all the materials dropped into her Inventory, and she seamlessly queued them up in the Tool Room’s production lines.

Three hours after lunch, Riley hauled over twenty freshly minted Small Wind Power Generators and a mountain of wiring, and headed toward the Hope Guild base with Twiggy.

When Riley stepped through the faintly glowing magical shield and formally entered the guild base, she immediately caused quite a stir.

It was just past 2:00 PM, and most of the people holding down the fort were busy with their

own tasks.

Some were cutting wooden planks, some were repairing gear, and others were in the training grounds practicing newly learned skills, experimenting with different combos.

Seeing Riley walk in, everyone stopped what they were doing and warmly greeted her.

Riley nodded in response, looking around in surprise.

The previously somewhat barren central plaza had completely transformed.

Rows of long benches, roughly nailed together from raw logs, were neatly arranged around the plaza.

Beside the benches stood several vintage–looking lampposts, apparently powered by magic.

What surprised Riley even more were the stone flower beds built into the corners of the plaza. They were a bit crude, but still.

Instead of delicate flowers, they were planted with cold–resistant pine shrubs dug up from the snowfield. The splash of green added a huge amount of charm to the surroundings.
