The scrawny man and the other swordsman tactfully backed away to the opposite sides of the crate, stowing their weapons to show they weren’t a threat.

The swordsman stopped at the crate, took a deep breath, and placed his hand on the lid.

A brilliant light flashed.

Truth be told, the haul from an elite monster’s crate on the eighth floor far exceeded Riley’s expectations.

The quality was almost on par with the Platinum Chests she had fought tooth and nail for back on the snowfield. The only thing missing were orange–tier blueprints or gear.

Looking at the dazzling array of supplies, Riley’s heartbeat ticked up a notch.

Beyond the purple gear and blueprints, what really caught Riley’s eye were a few cards radiating a bizarre

aura.

It was time to divvy up the loot.

Since the trio kept their posture incredibly low, Riley naturally assumed first pick.

But to their absolute shock, Riley didn’t clean them out. She didn’t instantly snatch up all the priceless purple blueprints like they expected.

With her Tool Room, Riley already had a massive backlog of blueprints. Unless a blueprint had a truly broken, unique mechanic, standard purple gear specs were just data on her assembly line.

What she actually needed were critical consumables to keep her alive and help her track down her squad.

“You guys keep the blueprints. I’ll take seventy percent of the crystals,” Riley said calmly, pointing her crossbow at the pile. I’m taking all the resistance and speed potions. As for the rest. I’ll take my pick. Deal?”

The trio exchanged dumbfounded looks before their faces broke into massive, genuine grins.

Aside from the three cards, Riley spotted twenty metal ingots giving off a cold, silver–grey luster.

This was the critical bottleneck material for a Level 7 camp upgrade, something she hadn’t even heard of before today.

While twenty pieces were just a drop in the bucket compared to the 500 required, it proved that Titanium Steel could be farmed in the dungeon. It was a solid start.
