Chapter 533 The Blacksmith Shop

Aside from the merchants selling pofions, bandages, rations, and crossbow bolts, a new halfopen blacksmith shop stood on one side of the hall.

The shop was built of stacked stone. Its furnace blazed hot. A stocky, dwarf NPC stood behind the anvil, hammering metal nonstop.

A wooden sign hung beside him, listing basic services: equipment repairs, standard gear crafting, and custom work using survivorsown materials and crafting blueprints.

RedBean read the sign quietly under her breath.

Use your own materials and blueprints. Chance of rolling special bonus stats. Only charges Frost Tokens, no extra material fees.

Bruce’s eyes went wide. We can repair gear right here in the hall?

Felix stepped closer as well.

No workbench restrictions? That’s a total lifesaver for regular survivors.

After fighting all the way to Floor 9, most playersgear durability was severely worn down. Being able to repair their equipment meant they could survive another floor.

More importantly, many survivors hoarded materials and blueprints out in the snow, but never had a proper workbench to craft anything.

This blacksmith shop charged Frost Tokens only. It didn’t consume extra materials, and it wasn’t limited by camp workbench tiers.

For most survivors, it was incredibly practical.

LoneWolf glanced at the shop and let out a quiet laugh.

Still not as good as President’s crafting skills.

Bruce nodded in agreement.

No kidding. She has way better odds of rolling good special stats.

RedBean coughed softly, signaling them to keep their voices down in front of the NPC.

Riley didn’t bother comparing her to the NPC.

The blacksmith shop barely impressed her.

She owned an intermediate mechanical workshop. Her crafting and repairing capabilities far outmatched this temporary dungeon forge.

But for everyone else, this shop was a gamechanger.

A long line of survivors had already formed in the hall.

Some waited with cracked chest armor in hand. Others clutched blueprints and materials, looking nervous as they anticipated their craft results.

Chapter 533 The Blacksmith Shop

Every time the blacksmith struck his hammer, a few people tensed up in anticipation.

This was the reality for adinary survivors.

They had no advanced workshop, no stable supply chain, and no massive stockpiles.

Every piece of gear, every potion, every Frost Token determined whether they’d live through the next floor.

Riley scanned the entire hall.

Fewer survivors lingered here than on Floor 8, but the overall skill level was noticeably higher.

Nearly everyone who’d made it this far traveled in organized teams with proper gear and solid combat experience. Solo survivors were rare, and those few moved with extreme caution.

Hope Guild’s arrival drew plenty of attention.

Some stared with wariness. Others with curiosity.

Still, no one dared start trouble for the time being.

Two familiar figures soon jogged straight toward themthe last two members of Dayshift’s team.

They were overjoyed to reunite with so many guild members at once. They hurried over to greet everyone, exchanging lighthearted banter with their friends.

After getting separated, they’d been relentlessly chased by monsters/By pure luck, they’d fled all the way to the central hall.

Badly worn out, they’d chosen to rest and recover inside the safe zone before trying to find the rest of the guild.

Either way, they were finally reunited. Riley let out a small breath of relief.

Hanna stepped beside her and spoke in a low voice.

Everyone’s worn out.

Riley looked over her team.

They’d pushed forward nonstop.

Clearing Floor 8’s sentry posts, rushing early into Floor 9, fighting endless mob waves, regrouping with LoneSparrow’s party, and surviving the deadly mushroom lamp corridorevery single member had been operating under constant high pressure.

Even with the hall’s passive regeneration effects, their mental stamina was stretched thin.

Riley had originally planned to gather intel and head straight for Floor 10.

But seeing how exhausted everyone looked the second they sat down, she changed her mind.

We’ll rest for one hour.

The entire team visibly relaxed at her words.

Riley continued issuing orders.
