Chapter 541 Faint Signal
NorthWind walked up beside Riley and lowered his voice.
Are enemies chasing you from behind?”
Just some old rivals from Floor 8, Riley said.
NorthWind wasn’t surprised at all.
“Then we can’t stay here long. This hollow is easy to defend, but if they block the entrance, we with no way out.”
“They might not even catch up. Riley replied calmly.
“We’ll head for the central hall first. Your group can use the safe zone there to recover fully
Riley gave the order to move out.
The merged team left the hidden hollow and re-entered the tunnels.
Their larger group made them a bigger target, but it also boosted their overall security.
Felix and NorthWind fell into perfect sync right away.
One knew explosives, the other knew the terrain inside out.
When they ran into sections thick with vine roots, NorthWind pinpointed trigger points. Felix then used minimal explosives to destroy the key root nodes without setting off large-scale traps.
Hanna kept strict control over team discipline.
A bigger formation always ran the risk of chaos, and she wouldn’t let that happen.
RedBean stayed in the center of the team, constantly logging their route, monitoring comim status, and tracking supply consumption.
LoneWolf seemed to wander aimlessly around the flanks, but he was always the first to respond to any movement in the shadows.
Once, a swarm of tiny bugs crawled out of a black-fruit vine. Before they could scarter across the ground, LoneWolf stabbed two through with his dagger and crushed the third under his boot
He scrubbed his sole vigorously against the stone bricks, looking mterly disgusted.
“Can’t this dungeon spawn some normal monsters for once?”
Hanna replied flatly, “You’re free to send a suggestion to the game system
“Nuli. I’m scared it’ll assign me to be a monster.”

Chapter 341 Faint Signal
The team pushed forward steadily, clearing threats as they went
Floor 10’s monsters were tough, but their teamwork grew smoother with every fight
Against Vine Wardens, they shattered the ground moss first, then focused fire on the ranged ughts Against Chain Puppets, they lured them out of narrow corridors and sliced their control cha
Against black-fruit vines, they shiped the roots from afar and burned all emerging bogs with fre
Against vine snakes that lurked beneath the moss, LoneWolf drew them out, Hannis pinned their hea down with crossbow bolts, and Riley finished them off with her axes
Their combat pace was slow, but rock solid.
No one died.
Not a single new severe injury occurred.
With far fewer players on Floor 10, tons of loot had been left untouched.
They opened two small treasure chests along the way. They earned Frost Tokens, repair oil, blue-tier crafting materials, various disposable scrolls, and even a piece of purple-tier gear
Monster drops were also more abundant than those on Floor 9. RedBean sorted and stored every harvest -tough vine tendons, broken chain fragments, and black bugshells alike.
These items looked like ordinary materials for now.
But once they brought them back and processed them in Riley’s workshop, they could be forged into new gear, defensive structures, or trap components.
Bruce hiked his pack higher, growing more energetic with every step.
“If we make it out of here safe, our whole team’s gear is gonna get a massive upgrade.”
“Let’s focus on surviving first,” RedBean reminded him.
NorthWind, leading the front, suddenly came to a halt.
He raised a hand to signal absolute silence.
The entire team stopped moving instantly.
Faint footsteps echoed from deep within the main corridor.
More than one person.
The scraping sound of dragging chains followed closely after.
NorthWind whispered, “Up ahead is the main corridor junction. Three paths split off from there.

Chapter 541 Faint Signal
“The left leads to the central zone. The right heads toward resource chambers. The middle to the safe hall, but I haven’t confirmed it yet”
Riley glanced toward RedBean.
RedBean checked her comm panel.
Nobody and ToxicReaper were still offline.
There was still no sign of Pineapple Beer or TartKing
“Monster spawns are dense around here, but so is the loot, NorthWind continued
“If we want to make good time, we should bypass the junction on the left instead of charging straigh through.
“How much time will the detour add?” Hanna asked.
“Roughly ten minutes, NorthWind answered.
“But it’ll let us skip the huge moss zone in the middle of the main corridor.”
Riley stared toward the distant junction.
NorthWind’s reinforcements had boosted their combat power, but the team still had wounded members They couldn’t afford unnecessary risks just to save a few minutes.
“We take the detour,” Riley decided.
