Mineral let out a helpless laugh.

“I’m just as confused as you are. I walked through that silver leaf gate, and the fairy made me solve puzzles. I failed the second round, and I got teleported straight here.
“My comm card flickered right before I was sent away. I only had time to send my location before the signal died completely.”
“How long have you been here?” Riley asked.
“Not long at all,” Mineral replied.
“I tried reconnecting with you guys nonstop after I got here, but my comm wouldn’t pick up your signal. My team’s in no shape to wander around either, so we decided to rest here and wait it out.”
At the very least, he hadn’t died out there.
Mineral added quickly, “It seems anyone who enters the Silver Leaf Trial gets sent here eventually, win or lose. People who clear it get extra rewards. Failures only get the basic teleport out.”
Felix puffed out his chest, looking proud. “That means we got the full clear!”
Mineral blinked in surprise. “You guys actually finished all three trials?”
LoneSparrow slapped his shoulder. “What did you think we were doing back there?”
Mineral looked toward Riley, all the tension draining from his face.
“Thank god. I was worried the coordinates I sent would lead you guys into danger.”
Riley shook her head. “It’s fine. The only thing that matters is you’re alive.”
After a quick catch-up, everyone asked about the other missing guild members.
Mineral’s smile faded fast.
“I haven’t seen Nobody or ToxicReaper. No sign of PineappleBeer or TartKing either.”
The relaxed atmosphere turned heavy again in an instant.
Riley nodded calmly. “We’ll rest up first and scope out the hall.”
RedBean immediately started taking notes.
This central hall shared the same basic layout as the ones on previous floors, but it was clearly upgraded.
There were far more NPC vendors here.
Alongside the usual general store, potion shop, and blacksmith, a brand-new storefront stood on the far/3

side of the hall with a beast claw hanging as its sign.
Several cages lined the shop’s exterior. Instead of regular beasts, each cage held fist-sized sealed grbs.
The orbs were semi-transparent, with faint silhouettes of tiny magical beasts trapped inside.
One held a small blue-feathered bird.
Another contained a fluffy white cub that looked like a ball of snow.
The last housed a tiny lizard with a faint glow along its back.
Felix’s eyes went wide. “Whoa. Is this a pet shop?”
RedBean glanced up at the sign. “It’s a beast shop.”
The shop’s NPC was a tall, rugged man dressed in beast hides. His voice came out rough and deep.
“These are sealed magical beast orbs from the Monster Forest. Purchase one to form a contract. Prices vary by rank. No refunds.”
Riley paused at the mention of the Monster Forest.
Beasts from that realm were similar to C.P. and Marshmallow Cloud Sheep.
She stepped closer to check the prices.
The cheapest orb cost 980 Frost Tokens.
Mid-tier orbs started at 1,500.
One orb labeled “Rare Juvenile Beast” was priced at a whopping five thousand eight hundred Frost Tokens.
Felix sucked in a sharp breath. “This isn’t a shop; it’s straight-up robbery.”
Riley had no interest in browsing further.
She had a decent stock of Frost Tokens, but the situation was still uncertain. PineappleBeer and TartKing were still missing. She couldn’t afford to waste tokens on trivial curiosities.
On top of that, pet strengths varied wildly.
C.P. was a mutated flame wolf with rare colored fire, proven strong against massive monster hordes.
Fluffy’s combat power was unknown, but it produced rare treats and had stayed by TartKing’s side for ages. It had genuine sentimental and functional value.
These orbs only gave vague descriptions with no guaranteed value. Riley wasn’t one to gamble blindly.
The potion shop’s stock was also far richer than the one on Floor 9.
