RedBean’s voice came out rough and hoarse. “We’re here. This is the central hall on Floor 15.”

Several team members’ legs almost buckled. They were this close to collapsing on the spot.

Riley didn’t relax one bit.

The area right outside the hall was still dangerous.

Monsters roamed all across the open ground in front of the giant stone gate.

There were at least a dozen Bonewarden Sentinels, four Darkspine Bulls, and several

Rockscale Monitor Lizards posted on both sides of the gate. Crystal Thorn Bugs kept scurrying through the dark shadows nearby, never letting up.

They weren’t all grouped together, but they perfectly blocked the final path to the safe zone.

Safety was so close they could practically reach it.

But they still had to fight hard to cover that last stretch.

Hanna’s tone turned gloomy the second she saw the scene. “This dungeon really refuses to cut us any breaks.”

Felix let out a bitter huff. “We’re literally right at the door, and it still wants us to pay a toll.”

Riley stared steadily at the hall entrance for a few seconds.

A faint, see-through barrier stretched across the gate’s opening.

If they could get past that barrier, they’d be safe.

But there was no way for their sixty-plus people to rush in without fighting first.

“This is our final fight,” Riley said.

Her voice was quiet, yet every single person stood a little taller, more alert.

“Getting inside is our only goal right now.”

NorthWind understood immediately.

“We’ll carve a clear path as fast as we can.”

Riley nodded firmly. “Use every item and skill we have left. Save nothing.”

No one argued.

Everyone pulled out all the supplies and abilities they’d been holding onto.

Bruce’s shield team charged right behind her, slamming into the frontline monsters head-on.

Felix threw his explosive gear straight at the Darkspine Bulls on the right. Blast after blast went off, forcing the bulls to swerve off their charge. They crashed into the nearby Rockscale Monitor Lizards, throwing the entire open area into total chaos.

Hanna and the other ranged fighters laid heavy fire, pinning down the Crystal Thorn Bugs lurking up high.

Defense scrolls popped open, glowing with protective barriers. Crystal shards slammed into the shields and shattered into tiny pieces nonstop.

LoneWolf shouted a sharp warning.

A Rockscale Monitor Lizard pounced out from beside the stone gate, aiming to cut right through the team’s mid formation.

Nobody and several teammates rushed forward to block it, but they were already worn thin. The lizard’s charge was way too strong, knocking them back again and again.

TartKing’s healing light fell over them right away, stabilizing their health and keeping them from going down.

Meanwhile, another Darkspine Bull circled around the explosions and charged straight for the wounded me
