Chapter 600 The Dungeon’s Crossroads

Chapter 600 The Dungeon’s Crossroads

Some people covered their faces, their shoulders trembling softly.

Others stared hard at the ground, their eyes burning red.

Lone Sparrow squatted in the corner, felling silent for a long while. Finally, he muttered quietly. “Stupa freaking dungeon”

No one said a word in reply.

Riley stood at the front of the group, holding her tongue for a moment.

She stared at the six names RedBean had jotted down.

Every single one belonged to someone who’d fought beside them all the way here.

These weren’t random temporary teammates or strangers they’d picked up along the way.

They were loyal Hope Guild members. They’d been tested and forged through every tough battle on this Journey.

Riley was hurting, no doubt about it.

But she knew better than to let the whole team drown in grief right now.

They’d finally reached the safe zone.

Right now, staying alive was their only priority.

Riley spoke up firmly. “Everyone rest where you stand. NorthWind and LoneWolf, scout the area. Don’t go far-just a quick check to make sure we’re secure.”

The team started moving again.

In a moment like this, keeping busy was way better than sitting around wallowing.

Nobody bit her bandage tight with her teeth and used one hand to help a fellow teammate strip off their broken armor. ToxicReaper laid out every last anti-toxin potion he had left, sorting and portioning them out one by one.

Felix dumped out his backpack to count what was left of his explosive gear.

The second his bag was empty, he fell quiet.

His pack used to be crammed full of supplies. Now all he had left were a few beat-up signal flares and a handful of random junk parts.

He stared at the little pile for a second, then started stuffing everything back into his bag.

“Totally cleaned out,” he mumbled. “I’ve got less gear than I’ve got luck.”

LoneSparrow tried to respond, but no words came out.

Felix nudged his foot against LoneSparrow’s leg

“What are you spacing out for? Help me sort the usable fuses. We might need them later.”

Lone Sparrow sniffled softly and nodded.

“Yeah, alright.”

On the other side of the platform, NorthWind climbed a small dirt slope, constantly scanning the massive hall ahead.

The more he looked, the grimmer his face got.

Riley walked up beside him. “What’s wrong?”

NorthWind pointed toward the distant center of the hall.

“All the lower-floor safe halls were small and self-contained. They only had a few NPC vendors, and almost all the survivors were the same group pushing upward together.”

He paused briefly.

“But there are way too many people here.”

Riley followed his gaze and took in the whole scene.

She’d been too busy regrouping and healing the team to notice earlier, but now that they’d caught their breath, the crowd size was way bigger than she’d expected.

This wasn’t just the small group of survivors they’d traveled with.

The distant streets were packed with all kinds of people. Some wore gear similar to theirs, while others looked totally different. Some had thick animal-hide cloaks, others wore light leather armor, and plenty carried weapons that didn’t match the standard loadout of the survivors she’d seen before.

Riley also spotted several strong, imposing figures walking past the shopfronts.

The more she watched, the stranger it felt. Had their group simply moved too fast and skipped running into all these people in the dungeon tunnels?

That didn’t make any sense.

After a moment of thinking, and putting together what PineappleBeer had told her before, Riley finally understood why every survivor fought so hard to reach Floor 15.

It wasn’t just because this place had more shops than the other safe halls.

This was a central meeting point.

Cross-floor messaging, trading, resupplying, resting-it all happened right here.

This dungeon could hold countless copies of those earlier safe halls, each sitting along separate parallel. paths.

This giant central hall was the main crossroads, where all survivors from those different routes finally converged.
