Anya went home and told her boyfriend, Leo, “Was he really that gross?”

Anya nodded, looking a little pitiful. “I barely ate anything at lunch—I just couldn’t. So I was starving all afternoon.”

That night, Leo pulled her close and grinned, “Come on, let’s go out for some late-night snacks. Feast your eyes on my handsome face and fill up, okay?”

Anya bounced out the door, all smiles.

Before he even finished, Anya had grabbed her wallet and dashed to the counter to pay.
