Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 1825

Andre looked at his son, realizing this was exactly why the boy had been dozing off in class the next day.

The new executive sent from Milka's former company turned out to be Fielding. The moment her flight landed, Milka's welcoming phone call came through. "Welcome to Eldoria."

"Wow, Milka, it's really freezing here in Eldoria."

"That's because it's about to snow," Milka replied.

Three days later, the snow finally arrived.

Milka leaned against her car door outside, waiting for the friend she rarely saw. "Hi, Fielding."

"Wow, is this the first snow? It's incredible. I've never seen snowflakes filling the sky like this."

The entire city was blanketed in pristine white snow, giving it a dreamy, magical allure. Workers were already out shoveling, and traffic had resumed normally. Milka had returned to Havenbrook.

Her husband had promised to come back with her, but his schedule was never that flexible.

Mars grumbled all the way back to the base. Everyone knew he was in a foul mood because he couldn't accompany his wife to her in-laws', so they all made sure to give the notoriously intense commander a wide berth.

Anyone unlucky enough to cross his path was in for a miserable time.

Milka returned to Havenbrook by herself and went straight to stay with her mother-in-law.

She had arrived the night before. It was snowing when she got off the plane. Leah had personally picked up her daughter-in-law, bypassing the house entirely to drag her to the mall for dinner and a shopping spree.

The snow was still falling when they left the house and didn't stop until today, leaving a thick blanket of powder on the ground.

If Milka hadn't planned to take a friend out for dinner today, Leah would have undoubtedly dragged her off to some new activity.

Mars furiously called his mother. "Mom, leave Milka alone when she's home. Stop bothering her."
