"Henry, Mia, I'm back! Come see what delicious treats I brought for you," Naomi called out, holding up a shopping bag.

Instantly, Mia and Henry came running over. Henry tiptoed, his nose twitching. "Naomi, I smell it! It's roasted corn!"

"Let's go inside to eat. It's freezing out here. Look, Henry's face is completely flushed, and Mia's nose is bright red. Hurry inside."

Once inside, Henry practically walked sideways because he was stubbornly clinging to Naomi's wrist from the front, eagerly waiting for his roasted corn.

When they reached the living room, Mia shouted, "Hansen, come out and eat some corn!"

Hansen didn't respond. Mia pulled out an ear of corn, enduring the heat as she snapped it in half. "Henry, call your grandpa."

Standing in the living room, Henry screamed at the top of his lungs, "Grandpa! Grandpa!"

He yelled so hard his voice actually cracked.

After his screeching, Hansen's voice finally drifted down from upstairs. "Grandson, Grandpa is here! What do you need?"

Henry held his half of the corn, having already taken two bites with his little teeth. "Eat corn! Naomi bought it."

Mia chewed on her corn and handed another ear to Hansen. "Hansen, it's really good. Here."

After passing out the food to the family, Naomi sat down in the living room. "Mia, guess who I just saw?"

Mia asked through a mouthful of food, "Who?"

"Milka. She's back."

"Really?" Mia looked down at her precious son, a grin spreading across her face as she raised an eyebrow. "Henry, it looks like we've got plans."

Henry kept munching, his little mouth full. "Mia, what are we going to do?"
