Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 1849

"Daddy did!" Henry chirped.

Instead of letting his precious son sleep in on a beautiful winter morning, Andre had dragged him straight out of bed, washed his face with cold water, dressed him, fed him breakfast, and tossed him outside to play.

Henry had already been running around in the snow for quite a while.

Mia headed into the bathroom to wash up, and the little guy trotted right in after her. He looked up. "Mommy, it's cold outside. You can't wear a dress! Even a long dress isn't okay."

After freshening up, Mia sat at her vanity to apply her skincare.

Henry shadowed her, tugging at the fleece-lined dress she had hastily thrown on. "Mommy, if you don't listen, I'm telling Daddy!" he warned, his little face deadly serious.

Mia leaned close to the mirror, inspecting her radiant complexion as if searching for imaginary fine lines with a magnifying glass. "Stop pulling on my clothes, you're going to stretch them out. I'll change into something thicker in a minute. Your mother isn't an idiot. And as for telling your dad, let me tell you a secret, Henry: your father is a menace." Remembering who she was talking to, she quickly added a threat. "Don't you dare repeat that to him. If you do, I'll spank you."

Henry tilted his head, watching in confusion as she rubbed lotion onto her face. "Mommy, what's that?"

"Skincare."

Henry patted his own cheeks. "I don't have any!"

"Nonsense. I bought you so much of it. Did your dad just wash your face and not put any on you?" Mia immediately scrutinized her son's tender skin.

Henry shook his head. His dad had washed his face with cold water that morning, sparking a full-blown war between the two of them.
