Andre sighed. "I understand." He never imagined that as a powerful CEO and titan of the business world, he would be subjected to his wife's rules over a petty squabble with a toddler.

"Dad agreed, so I agree too," Henry chirped.

Having resolved the non-issue between father and son, Mia stood up. "Play with your dad. I'm going upstairs to get ready for bed."

As soon as Henry walked up to his dad, Andre scooped him into his arms and set him on his lap.

The little boy held up a slobber-covered hand, offering a shrimp chip to his father. "Eat, Dad."

"I'm good. Who gave you these snacks?"

"Mom."

"Mia barely has enough snacks for herself. Why would she share with you?"

"Because I know Mom's secret."

Andre's gaze turned somber. "What secret?"

Henry grinned, showing off a row of pearly white baby teeth. "Can't tell Dad."

After a few warm moments between father and son, Henry ran off to play with Wayne.

He wanted more snacks, but Andre put his foot down. "Save them for tomorrow. Go watch cartoons with Wayne, then wash up and go to sleep."

Henry pouted for a second, but the promise of snacks tomorrow quickly cheered him up.

Back in the bedroom, Andre didn't press Mia about whatever secret she was keeping.
