"Then I'll take you to the fencing club tomorrow," Andre said.
As they walked, Henry chattered away. "Are you going to practice with me, Dad?"
"If you want me to, I will."
Henry pouted his little lips. "Dad, do you even know how? If you don't, I'll have to teach you."
Andre gave a dry laugh. "You'll find out tomorrow."
The next day, when Henry was crying after being thoroughly defeated by his dad, he no longer underestimated him. The little guy had completely abandoned the rules, wildly swinging his foil and basically turning it into a brawl.
But today, father and son were getting along just fine.
Andre set his son in his chair in the dining room, and the staff began serving oatmeal.
Five minutes later, Chad appeared carrying a yawning Wayne. "Brother!"
Henry picked up a piece of pancake from his plate and held it out. "Here, Wayne."
Wayne leaned forward so enthusiastically to grab it that he nearly tipped over backward.
Luckily, Chad caught him just in time and set him in his high chair. "You have your own food. Don't take your brother's."
Bruce Cedillo, having finished his morning workout, walked into the dining room. "Is Dad not up yet?"
After breakfast, Chad asked the staff to pack some food for Molly, then he and his son went upstairs to wake her.
Before heading to work, Bruce also asked someone to check on his father.
The chaotic energy of Jade sharply contrasted with Hansen's slow, yawning morning routine.
Molly wished she had ten hands, while Hansen was leisurely eating breakfast and reading the newspaper.
The morning routine finally ended with the sharp slam of a door.
Chad drove off, with Molly eating her breakfast in the passenger seat.
