Sylvara's Rebirth A New Dawn for Abel novel Chapter 233

A crow egg?

Is Blake a crow…?

Then how big would that crow be?

Sylvara shook her head fast, trying to push away the ridiculous image of Blake with a human head and a bird body.

“This egg matches the size of a wyvern egg,” Malcolm sad, calm as ever. “Small wyvern eggs are about this size. Even the biggest crow eggs aren’t this large. Either way, it doesn’t matter. There’s no life inside. If you boil a wyvern egg, it smells a little strong, but the taste is fine.”

Sylvara tucked the egg against her chest. “Malcolm, finish skinning your tiger. I know plenty of egg recipes. I’ll order supplies, cook you an egg feast and bring it over.”

Sweetheart was out on military training for a full month

Everything she left behind was long gone.

The moment Malcolm heard “egg feast,” not only did he not keep her, he even reminded her. “Keep the receipts when you buy ingredients. I’ll reimburse you.

“I’ll keep skinning the tiger, deal with that mule, and take care of the lion head too. I’ll cook you a feast later.”

“Great! I’m going now.” Sylvara called out cheerfully. She didn’t forget to snatch the bloody tiger penis before leaving.

Blake had given her an egg. If she didn’t return a gift, she’d look rude.

Malcolm had no idea why she grabbed that thing. He yelled after her, “Sweetheart, are you broke? You can’t eat that! What are you taking it for?”

But Sylvara was already gone, hopping out the door like a rabbit set free.

She heard absolutely none of it.

Sylvara sprinted all the way back to her dorm, shut the door, opened the Starnet shop, and bought every kind of egg she could find.

Wyvern eggs. Crow eggs. She bought plenty of both.

Then she searched for white wine. After hunting through store after store, she finally found a shop in the Eighth Sector that still sold it. She ordered many bottles of white wine on the spot.

The bloody tiger penis was washed clean, placed into her drying machine, and set to dehydrate.

While it dried, Sylvara took out the black egg she had tucked away and set it gently on the dining table. She thought of her bargain-bin husband, how he was confident she was a Level-7 Plant Healer just because of a tiny mole on her hand.

She grabbed a white marker and colored the mole white. Then she opened her optical computer and called him.

She made sure the camera showed only the black egg of the table, not her face.

Meanwhile, in a high-security cell far away, reinforced eams of light crisscrossed the air like steel bars. Agares stood with his hands behind his back, staring inside.

Rheys, half-human from the waist up and dragging a long black tail behind him, was burned and bleeding from the beams. He kept shouting that he wanted to see Feywin. Agares’ voice was cold and sharp. “She belongs to the Troya Empire. She will not come see you And she has no obligation to.”

Rheys leaned against the door of the laser-crossed cell, ngers smoking from the heat. He didn’t seem to feel a thing. His golden eyes narrowed, pupils sharp and glowing red. “Agares, how many planets do you want? Name a number. I’ll trade them all. Just give me my little sweetheart back.”

“Planets?” Agares replied calmly. “The weather is nice today. Perfect for-”

Before he could finish saying dream, his optical computer chimed.

He stopped halfway, lifted his hand to check the screen.

After more than ten days, his little wife was calling him. A video call.

They’d only exchanged voice messages before. Never video.

Agares hesitated for a moment, then turned around. Boom. The door of Rheys’ cell slammed shut.

From the outside, the entire room became seamless, like a solid block of stone with no cracks.

Agares accepted the call, expecting to see his wife’s face. Instead, he was staring at a black egg.

Then a soft, pale hand reached into the frame and picked it up.
