Chapter 334 Zombie Cores
Honestly, it wasn’t worth the price.
But Phil told everyone otherwise.

The motorcycle’s mental-energy shield could protect someone, nurture their mental energy, and the leftover energy could be stripped for study.
Even after 3,000 years, the War Goddess’ shield was still intact.
The auction started, and the price skyrocketed to 500 million.
And it kept climbing.
Finally, an idiot paid one billion and took it home.
Auren assumed it had to be his commander again.
But Agares hadn’t moved at all.
Auren frowned, confused. A 3,000-year-old antique motorcycle with a mental-energy shield should’ve been more valuable than a robe.
Why would Agares spend four billion on a robe but ignore a heavy motorcycle?
The last item of the first half of the auction appeared. It was a bag of energy crystals.
Those were zombie cores.
But people from the Abel Star System didn’t know that.
They treated them like regular gemstones.
gemstones-
Phil introduced, “Honored guests, today’s fifth auction item is a collection of ancient Earth gemstones that have never been seen among the merfolk, beastkin, or Troya Empire.
“This bag contains 288 gems of all sizes and colors. Take a look.”
The projections and lights lit up the zombie cores, sparkling brilliantly.
Sylvara nudged Blake. “Daddy, this stuff is good. You should bid.”
Blake raised a sly eyebrow. “Good? Why don’t you bid yourself?”

Sylvara shrugged, casual and smug. “It’s more useful for you and Agares. For me, with just a tiny bit of plant-type mental energy, it’s basically a sharpening stone.
“If you don’t bid, I’ll make my husband do it. And you better not regret it when he does.”
She already had 20 or 30 cores in her spatial button from the chests of Swarmborn hosts. The ones on stage? She didn’t care much.
But for anyone with real mental energy or strength, those were the real deal. Even if they couldn’t absorb the power inside the zombie cores, just carrying one could calm a mental- energy riot.
Blake saw Sylvara lift her hand to message Agares and grabbed it. “I’ll bid.”
Sylvara yanked free with a flick. “Too late. My husband is better suited for this.”
Phil continued projecting the auction items. “Everyone can see clearly. These gems were foun with the vehicle and robe of the ancient Earth War Goddess. They’re either her trophies or her cherished possessions. Two hundred and eighty-eight pieces, starting at 200 million. Increments of 100 thousand. Bidding starts now.”
As he spoke, the price on the projection began moving.
Agares stared at the dazzling gems, fingers hovering over the red button. Just then, his device chimed.
He tapped it open and saw a message from his wife. “Honey, whatever it takes, get what’s on stage!”
Agares read it, squinted, and slid on sunglasses identical to the ones Blake had given Sylvara. He scanned the dark hall.
Hundreds of thousands of people filled the room.
The search function on his glasses could pinpoint young girls under 20 without fail.
After sweeping the crowd, his eyes returned to Blake and Sylvara below. Then he stood up.
Auren scrambled up. “Commander Vaelor, where are you going?”
Agares’ voice was icy. “Switching seats.”
Auren was speechless.
Could you just switch seats at an auction?
Why didn’t I know that?
