Chapter 369 It’s a Panda
Agares let out a long breath, his voice turning cold. “Is it that your husband doesn’t give you money, or did he cut off your shared account, so now you need a beast to support you?”
Interstellar Era netizens were just too cute. They kept messaging her, saying they wanted to donate, even offering to work for free just for a chance to farm with her.
She couldn’t believe people like that existed. It actually hade her feel embarrassed.
Sylvara scrolled through the comments one by one, not even looking up. “My husband’s money isn’t the same as Panda Baby’s money. It’s not that I really need anda Baby to take care of me, but what he says makes me happy. It’s a mood boost for me.”
In all of Hesperia, who could be as lucky as me to have Panda Baby willing to support them?
No one.
It’s a panda.
A living, breathing panda, for god’s sake.
Every person in Hesperia dreams of having their own Panda Baby. If he says he’ll support you, who wouldn’t be thrilled?
“Besides,” Sylvara paused as her optical computer flashed with a message from Blake. She instinctively turned her back to Agares, opened the message, and said, “My daddy told me, as an independent person, you should have your own career and earn a lot of money. That’s the only way to have a leading position in the family.
“To make sure I have that kind of position, I’ve decided to learn from him. While I’m in school, I’ll start building my career. When I graduate, I’ll have a career and money, and my place in the family will be unshakeable.”
Blake’s message read, “Kid, be careful. Agares used His Majesty to pressure me and made me copy the Troyan Empire Penal Code. You’re now stuck in the same room with him, so watch out—don’t let your cover get blown without knowing!”
Sylvara stiffened for a second after reading that. Then she remembered how her hand had accidentally brushed Agares’s hand before, and he’d recoiled like she was contagious.
The way he yanked his hand back so fast, one’d think she was poisonous. If he had known she was his wife, it didn’t make sense for him to react like that.
So, clearly, that level of rejection had to mean he didn’t know she was his wife—that’s why he was keeping his distance.
His upbringing and straight-laced nature made him avoid contact with any woman who wasn’t related to him.
Thinking that, Sylvara relaxed again. She confidently replied to Blake, “Daddy, don’t worry. Focus on copying your Penal Code. I’m fine. Unless I expose myself on purpose, I guarantee he’ll never figure out who I am!”
She hit send.
Just as she hit send, Agares’s cold voice sounded behind her. “Did General Kenobia really teach you all this?

all this to prove you’re independent and hold on to your place in the family?”
Sylvara’s eyes flicked, and she quickly exited the screen, pulled a box of jerky from her spatial button, and turned to hand it to Agares with a sweet smile. “Of course. It’s always right to listen to your parents. After all, he’s got more life experience than I do. Don’t you agree Your Highness?”
Agares’s attractive eyes fixed on her as he asked in a low rough voice, “Is it really General Kenobia’s teaching? Or maybe, your husband asked for a divorce,ou don’t want it, and now you’re using General Kenobia as an excuse to maintain your place in the family and remain in control?”
For a second, Sylvara thought her identity as Agares’s wife had been exposed, and he was pressing her to
confess.
But she pulled herself together. Seeing he wouldn’t take the box of jerky from her hand, she pushed it toward him again, grinning innocently.
“I’m so pretty and cute. He’s definitely not thinking about divorcing me. If he ever says the word divorce again, I’ll go straight to the barracks and beat him up. In my marriage, the only ending is widowhood, never divorce. Your Highness, have some late-night snacks!”
