Chapter 10 A Lesson for Thugs
Finished
Isabella directly kicked him to the ground with one foot, then violently threw the computer tower she was carrying.
With a loud thud, the thugs were knocked down by her, her movements crisp and clean as if rehearsed for a movie.
“Thud!”
Isabella planted one foot firmly on the head of the guy with the dyed hair, steadily catching the falling computer tower and hugging it to her chest again.
She looked down calmly at the thug struggling desperately under her foot and said quietly, “Phones.”
At her words, the other thugs nearby hurriedly scrambled to their feet and handed over all their phones.
“They’re… all here,” they said, their voices trembling.
The group looked utterly dejected.
They thought they could make some extra money, but instead got beaten up and robbed in return!
Boo hoo!
The whole group started crying.
This was practically their entire worldly wealth.
And…
They had no idea how strong Isabella was. Everyone felt like the spots where she’d hit them were splitting with pain.
The group let out a chorus of miserable groans. If they weren’t afraid of annoying Isabella and getting another beating, they would have outright sobbed.
After taking their phones, Isabella directly dialed 911 and said calmly, “Be better people from now on. If I
catch you again, you’re on your own.”
With that, she reported to the connected emergency operator that there was a fight happening here.
It was clearly them getting beaten up one–sidedly!
No one dared to utter another word; they only nodded meekly in agreement.
Isabella’s punches were seriously heavy–handed!
None of these thugs had ever expected that someone as delicate and frail–looking as Isabella could fight so fiercely.
It was completely unbelievable!

Chapter 10–Atesson for Thugs
The men could only groan in misery.
Finished
After making the call, Isabella lingered for a moment. As soon as she spotted the police cars approaching, she slipped into the alley entrance and disappeared within a few quick steps.
The thugs were scolded by the police, who said they had no respect for the law, daring to gather for a
brawl.
The thugs wept bitter tears–It wasn’t us! We didn’t!
At most, we gathered to get beaten up.
Dejectedly, the group was loaded into the police cars to be taken back for more… education.
Isabella, meanwhile, carried the computer tower to a rundown scrapyard. In a few moves, she dismantled the tower, tossed it to the owner, and said, “Boss, it’s yours.”
She waved her hand and walked straight out of the scrapyard.
Around the same time, not far from the alley where Isabella had the fight, a luxury sedan was driving on the road.
Lucas White hesitated, then asked, “Mr. Powell, that seemed to be Ms. Powell earlier.”
They had just passed by the entrance of that alley and seen Isabella standing with a group of people who looked very much like thugs.
As Adrian Powell’s personal secretary and assistant, Lucas was aware of some matters concerning the Powell family.
This included Isabella, who had been kidnapped years ago and had only recently been brought back to the Powell family.
And now…
Isabella was hanging out with what appeared to be a gang of thugs…
Lucas stole a glance at Adrian’s expression.
Adrian’s face showed little change.
He was the epitome of an elite professional–handsome, refined, exuding the typical shrewdness and reserve of a businessman. His eyelids were very thin, and his gaze was deep and inscrutable, carrying immense authority when he fixed it on someone.
At this moment, he closed his eyes, his expression cool. “Ignore it,” he said coldly.
Adrian felt nothing for his biological sister who had just returned home.
A standout among heirs in the upper–class circles, he had returned to the country at twenty–three after completing his studies and took over the Powell family business, now thriving under his leadership.

Chapter 10 Atesson for Thugs
Within the entire Powell family, aside from Daniel, he held the most authority.
He was aware of Isabella’s situation but had never paid it any mind.
Finished
To him, this sister was utterly useless, even a potential burden and liability that could drag down the Powell family.
As long as she didn’t bring disgrace to the Powell name, he couldn’t be bothered.
Now, she was actually mingling with thugs.
He restrained himself repeatedly but finally opened his eyes and said coldly, “Call Isaac. Ask him what’s going on.
“Can’t he even keep an eye on one girl?
“How did she even get all the way to the downtown area?”
He made no mention of any potential danger Isabella might have faced with those thugs.
In his view, Isabella being with those thugs just proved that birds of a feather flock together.
Deep down, she was just that kind of low–class person.
A flicker of disgust passed through Adrian’s eyes.
He usually couldn’t care less about Isabella’s usual behavior.
But he didn’t want her to tarnish the Powell family’s reputation, or his own face.
Lucas seemed to want to say something but stopped himself.
The way Isabella looked earlier didn’t seem like she was there to socialize with those thugs.
But she was clearly standing with them… It couldn’t possibly be that she was acting heroically, could it?
Lucas thought back to the frail, delicate figure of Isabella he’d seen before… it seemed… unlikely.
He responded, “Yes, I’ll call Mr. Isaac Powell right away.”
୮
He dialed Isaac’s number and briefly explained the situation.
Hearing that Isabella had gone to the downtown area and might even be hanging out with thugs, Isaac was first shocked, then furious.
“So that’s where she went earlier! And putting on that delinquent act!
“She went to mess around with those kinds of people!
“Where did she learn these disgraceful ways?
“I really regret bringing her back from-”
