Chapter 162 Signing the Estate

Isabella accessed the Powell family’s security cameras remotely and confirmed that Isaac had indeed returned to Powell Villa. He had also reached an agreement with Adrian and was joining the company as a member of the board, demanding oversight over projects and all corresponding executive privileges.
Isabella frowned slightly.
She noticed Adrian had given in to Isaac’s demands surprisingly quickly with hardly any negotiation- and immediately understood what was going through his mind.
Adrian’s attention was now almost entirely fixed on the Neural–Network Interface System. He genuinely didn’t have the bandwidth to lock horns with Isaac, so his main goal was simply to keep him quiet and
contained.
Otherwise, if Isaac decided to make a public fuss, not only would the Powell family’s reputation take a hit, but in the worst case, it might even attract scrutiny from federal regulators.
After turning it over in her head, Isabella decided not to waste any more energy on the situation.
If Isaac wanted to go back and stir the pot, so be it.
It wasn’t as if Powell Group was going to be around much longer anyway.
Her expression remained calm, detached–she wasn’t about to invest another ounce of thought into it.
Just then, her phone rang. It was Ryan.
“Ms. Powell! Everything’s been handled!” he announced, his voice bright with excitement.
He really didn’t know how he’d made it through the emotional whiplash of the past twenty–four hours.
Because Isabella’s payment had cleared instantly, the seller had been thoroughly impressed and cooperated fully, making the whole process go smoother than anyone could have expected.
But that wasn’t all.
He added cautiously, “Ms. Powell, there’s one more thing I should let you know.
“The seller insisted on honoring that ten–percent discount. They said they want to stay on good terms for the future–so you could reach out if anything ever comes up.”
Truth be told, Ryan was pretty stunned himself.
We’re talking about tens of millions of dollars here, and these people were just passing it back and forth!
Rich people really operated on another level.
He’d personally clip coupons just to save a few bucks on his own grocery runs.
Isabella narrowed her eyes slightly at his words, then replied coolly, “Alright.”

She didn’t overthink it.

Clearly, the seller had recognized her resources and wanted to keep a line open after they relocated
overseas.
If that was the case, Isabella had no problem with it.
Who would say no to keeping extra money?
If they didn’t want it, she’d take it back without a second thought.
“Is everything finalized?” she asked.
Ryan responded eagerly, “All wrapped up. The property is ready for you to move in anytime.”

“All staff—butlers, housekeepers, security–have been jointly vetted and hired by both parties, and we have the full verification records prepared.
“You can review everything once you’re settled.
“All the paperwork is done as well.
“It just needs your signature to go into effect.”
After he finished, Isabella gave a slight nod. “I’ll head over now.”
Ryan’s tone lifted. “Perfect! We’re currently at-” and he provided an address, which turned out to be a high–end law firm specializing in real estate closings and contract execution.
Clearly, he had taken care of every detail in advance.
Isabella didn’t delay. She called a rideshare and went straight there.
When she stepped out of the car, Ryan was already waiting outside.
He’d been standing by the entrance for a while.
The moment he spotted Isabella, he hurried over, enthusiasm written all over his face.
“Ms. Powell!” he beamed. “Let me get your bag for you. Are you thirsty? Can I get you some water–or maybe a coffee?
“I can hold an umbrella if you’d like.”
Isabella paused.
She glanced down at herself. She was only carrying a backpack and had nothing else with her. “That won’t be necessary, she told him evenly. “Just act naturally.”
At that, Ryan quickly nodded and switched into a more professional, efficient mode.
And why wouldn’t he?
