Chapter 166 Impressing the Experts
Who in the world had set up that security system for her?
The thing was practically overkill

The team from the security company muttered under their breath, but not one of them dared to ask Isabella directly.
Client privacy was client privacy, after all.
Wherever she got that program, the bottom line was that it worked–flawlessly.
As for her connections, that was none of their business. They had no right to pry, much less daydream about tapping into them.
The whole crew tiptoed around her, practically bending over backward to please her.
They even rotated in some of their senior security specialists, swapping out the earlier crew for higher- levél experts.
The goal was simple: give Isabella the best protection possible–and if they happened to pick up a trick or two in the process, well, that was just a bonus.
They pulled out all the stops, assigning their top–tier service staff exclusively to her account.
Meanwhile, Isabella had already packed up her phone and laptop and turned to Ryan.
“That should do it,” she said. “Thanks for your help. I’ve wired over the one percent commission.”
Ryan stood there, completely floored.
He knew a thing or two about coding himself, but watching Isabella work was like trying to follow a magie trick–in the blink of an eye, she’d compiled and sent the program to the security company’s contact email.
And then they wrote back saying it passed all their stress tests… and begged her for an upgrade?
Was Isabella some kind of hacking prodigy?
Or maybe there was already a prototype out there, and she just… polished it to perfection?
Either way, it was seriously impressive.
It meant one thing: Isabella had a world–class tech team behind her.
His eyes widened, and his tone shifted to one of pure respect.
“If you need anything else in the future, Ms. Powell, please don’t hesitate to reach out. It would be my pleasure to assist you.”
When he said that, Isabella glanced at him, a faint eyebrow raised.

“Alright, she replied. “I’ll keep you in mind if something comes up.”
He was actually pretty useful–a perfect temporary fixer for things she didn’t want to handle herself.
It wasn’t like she needed someone for highly confidential or sensitive matters afryway.
Hearing that, Ryan’s face lit up instantly.
He nodded eagerly. “Absolutely, Ms. Powell. Anytime. You’ll get my very best service.”
One deal with her had already made him more than a decade’s worth of commissions.
Of course he was thrilled. Heck, if she asked him to walk away from his current job, he’d do it in a heartbeat.

While Isabella and Ryan were wrapping up at the villa, Brett and Nora were already on their way to find her.,
Brett still couldn’t wrap his head around it.
They lived in an upscale gated community–if someone said they lived “nearby“, that meant one of the luxury estates in the same area.
But he hadn’t heard about any recent sales in the neighborhood.
Most of the properties around theirs were snapped up by old–money families or corporate elites–you could count them on one hand, and everyone knew/who was who.
It made him wonder… had Isabella gotten scammed?
Sure, she said she lived close by, but what if she’d been given some fake address in the middle of nowhere?
Brett didn’t think Isabella was naive enough to fall for that, but Isaac? Isaac was another story.
Maybe Isaac had dragged her into some shady deal without her realizing.
That was why Brett decided to ride along with Nora and check it out personally.
“Summit Manor,” Brett read aloud from the address Isabella had provided.
It was located just beyond their own neighborhood, in an even more exclusive enclave.
He’d heard about that place–ultra–luxurious, owned by some out–of–state dynasty that had moved in years before his family did.
