Chapter 27 Too Annoying to Ignore
Finished
The group all looked cold and unfriendly, trying to talk Hannah down while shooting hostile looks at Isabella.
Isabella, however, completely ignored them. She just looked at Noah with a cool, detached expression and said, “Are you moving or not?”
She was never going to repeat the same request a third time.
In Isabella’s world, there was no seat she couldn’t sit in.
If they wouldn’t let her have it, then the other person wasn’t going to get to sit there either.
“You!”
Noah stared coldly at Isabella, then realized she wasn’t the least bit afraid of him.
Not only that, but there was something about her that even he found unsettling.
Noah narrowed his eyes slightly, then scoffed, his expression staying neutral. “Fine.”
“You can sit here.”
As he spoke, he grabbed his school blazer, tilted his chair back on two legs, and made space for her to get by.
Isabella’s gaze stayed calm. After giving him a brief look, she walked straight through the space he had cleared.
As she passed by, the people around her looked stunned.
Hannah in particular had already been preparing to put on a tearful, pitiful act, planning to beg Isabella not to sit next to Noah.
If necessary, she could even “plead” with Noah to let her sit beside him first, thereby keeping Isabella from taking the seat.

That way, she could end up next to Noah in a way that seemed totally natural–getting close to him while also making Isabella look like the bad guy.
She wanted everyone to see how Isabella had both taken her seat and forced her way next to Noah.
But how could Noah have actually let Isabella sit there?!
Wasn’t he known for hating anyone sitting next to him?!
In all of Class 1, it wasn’t like no one had ever tried to get close to Noah.
But those people got told to get lost before they could even get near.
Noah came from a military and political family, and his presence was intense and intimidating–most

people couldn’t handle his energy.
So, over time, no one dared to sit next to him anymore.
Plus, he was basically the undisputed leader of Class 1; no one in the class dared to cross him.

If Isabella sat next to him, wouldn’t that mean she had easy access to him? And… no one would bother her
anymore.
Hannah bit her lip hard, feeling deeply resentful.
Earlier, when she saw Isabella heading toward Noah’s seat, she had been thrilled, thinking Isabella was about to get put in her place.
Then, she could gracefully apologize on Isabella’s behalf, and surely everyone would see how generous, gentle, and considerate she was.
But she never expected…
Hannah was biting her lip so hard it was almost bleeding, and she didn’t even notice.
The people around her also looked pretty upset and jealous.
“I can’t believe Noah actually let her sit there…”
“She’s just some backwoods girl…”
“Ugh… if I’d known Noah was only scary on the outside, I would’ve sat next to him ages ago.”
They whispered among themselves, full of resentment.
Meanwhile, Isabella hung her backpack by the window, took out her books, and arranged them neatly on her desk.
Then, she put her head down and went to sleep.
Noah had assumed Isabella was trying to get close to him to win him over.
He never expected her to just fall asleep?!
୮
He felt both annoyed and a little embarrassed for misreading the situation–and also kind of angry.
What was up with this person?!
She suddenly barged in to take the spot next to him.
And now she was ignoring him?!
