Chapter 330 The Shadow Bidder
And Trevor had gone out of his way to antagonize someone of that stature.
Brazenly belittling her brother right before her eyes.
Richard felt his hair turning gray from sheer stress.
It was an absolute curse on his family line.
As the chairman stewed in rage, Trevor was nursing his own bitter frustration.
How could he have predicted that Isabella would show up at this judicial auction?
The fallout between the Powells and the Carters had erupted entirely on her account.
Yet here she was standing in the auction hall–could she be aiming to buy back Powell Group?
That realization sparked a sudden, malicious scheme in his mind.
“Alright, stop nagging.
“I know exactly what I’m doing.
“Besides, you have no idea that Mr. Keller from foreign capital circles has hated the Powells for ages–he only backed off because they went under.
“Everything I did was for the sake of your company.”
Trevor grumbled with impatient irritation.
“Just stay here.
“I’m stepping out for a moment.”
With that, he turned on his heel and strode off, ignoring his father’s furious calls and leaving the older man fuming.
“Ungrateful brat.
“An absolute disgrace to my name.”
Richard beat his chest in sheer exasperation.
Slipping out of the main hall into a secluded corridor, Trevor pulled out his phone and dialed an unlisted number.
Roughly ten minutes later, his phone buzzed with an incoming call.
Ecstasy flashed across his features as he hastily swiped to answer.
“Hello, Mr. Keller.”
Trevor spoke in a thoroughly obsequious tone.
The contact he had messaged earlier was an insider channel tied to Damian’s circle.
He had detailed Isaac and Isabella’s presence, highlighting how he humiliated Isaac and consequently offended Isabella.
He was gambling that Damian wouldn’t let the surviving Powells off the hook so easily.
Hearing Damian call back, he knew his gamble had hit the jackpot.
The Keller heir indeed harbored deep malice toward the Powell family.
And Damian was more than pleased to hear Isaac get dragged through the mud.

He had wanted to vent his rage on the Powells, only to find their empire was already in ruins.
Learning that Isabella was attending the asset auction, his eyes narrowed, “Stay where you are- I’m sending a representative over.”
If Isabella was there to reclaim the Powell corporate holdings, she was in for a rude awakening.
