Mia simmered with intense, suffocating resentment as those toxic thoughts swirled in her head.

Isabella cast a fleeting glance at them, entirely unfazed, and dismissed them from her mind.

Since Mia and her crew had actually swallowed their pride and apologized, she saw no reason to keep hounding them.

To be fair, if Mia’s clique had just kept their mouths shut, admitted their mistake, and offered a normal apology from the start, this whole drama wouldn’t even have happened.

Yet they chose to frame her to the school administration and even weaponized Adrian to try and steamroll her.

Remembering their pathetic little stunt, Isabella’s eyes flashed with cold indifference before she put her head right back down on her desk.

“Whatever.”

She murmured flatly, barely acknowledging their existence.

Hearing that single word, Mia and her crew felt like they were handed a presidential pardon, scrambling up from the linoleum floor and bolting back to their seats.

They were absolutely terrified that lingering for even a split second would cause Isabella to call them back and demand a more sincere performance.
