Chapter 111
He said as he bared his arms and legs for Draco to see. Draco’s eyes raked over his alpha, his eyes scanning for injuries.
“The wolf I fought… she was experienced but stupid. She shouldn’t have gone up against me.”
“Her?”
“Have any idea who she is?”
He asked and Gabriel nodded.
“I think it’s Vara.”

He said as he walked towards the living room, his staff had left, but he could tell they were there moments ago. He looked outside the window and saw that the cleanup was almost done.
Good. He didn’t want Lori to wake up to the gruesome sight of blood in the morning.
“Vara?! Sabine’s beta?”
Gabriel nodded.
“Yes. The same one.”
“Now, why Sabine would send Vara and a couple of reject wolves to me is what I don’t understand. It seems like suicide at the very least.”
Draco sighed.
“Then it must mean she was the one that killed Tony. How else would she get this location?”
Gabriel nodded.
“Yes. You’re right. But it still doesn’t make sense why she would boldly attack me.”
“I won my case against her. She was given a clear order to stand down.”
“She’s stupid to even think about messing with me.”
Gabriel’s blood was boiling at the thought of it alone. It just didn’t make sense!
Sabine?! Against him? It was laughable. And honestly annoying to think that he couldn’t even get a worthy opponent.
He would crush her. Her and her puny little pack.
And after what she just did, there would be no mercy for her.
“Do you think Vara was acting alone?”
Draco asked and Gabriel shook his head. No. Vara was not that dumb, besides Vara was loyal to Sabine. Extremely loyal, she wouldn’t do anything that didn’t

have her alpha’s stamp on it.
“My guess is that they found out about Lori and want to use her against me.”
“I wouldn’t put it past them. Poor Tony, after he spilled everything to them, they still ended up killing him and his mate.”
He thought as he stared out the window.
“I managed to find his daughter. I took her to her grandmother’s and broke the news to her.”
Gabriel nodded.
“Make sure they’re well taken care of Draco.”
Draco nodded.
“On to more pressing matters, this location is compromised… we need to move you out of here now.”
Gabriel nodded.
“I know. We’ll leave daybreak.”
Draco nodded in agreement.
“Which of the houses should I prepare?”
“Somewhere close to work. Maybe that penthouse I own.”
Draco shifted on his feet. The penthouse was small… it wouldn’t accommodate them all.
“But the penthouse… compared to this house it’s…”
“Small?”
Gabriel completed his statement for him.
“I know. It’s small.”
“Move the staff to a safe house. I’ll assume they’re life is in danger now that Sabine probably knows about all of them. They won’t be coming with us.”
Draco nodded.
“And your cousin? Elliot?”
Oh he didn’t forget Elliot. He would have to keep Elliot close too, to keep an eye on him and to also make sure he never meets the same fate.
“Get him an apartment in the same building as our penthouse.”
“I want to keep him close. But not too close.”
