Chapter 125 She Has Betrayed Us
Third-person POV:
Meanwhile, all the Greens branch families, along with the elders and main members of the Silverleaf Park, were gathered in the Green Villa’s hall.
The so-called ‘family meeting” felt more like a complete Silverleaf Pack gathering
Norman hadn’t officially become the pack’s Alpha yet, and the meeting was organized without Marlon knowing. He used the “family meeting excuse as a cover, skirting Pack Laws while still pulling in all the major players.
Sitting in the main scat, Norman got straight to the point. I called this meeting to talk about the Silverleaf Pack’s line of succession.”
“Didn’t Mr. Marlon already say Thora is next in line?”
Once someone spoke up, everyone else chimed in.
“Yeah. Though I don’t like that a mixed-blood like Thora gets to inherit, Alpha’s decision is final.”
“Even if Thora hasn’t awakened her wolf yet, she’s acting more and more like Mr. Marlon. I don’t mind her taking it.”
“But we have a stronger choice-like Norman. He should be the first in line!”
Norman frowned tightly. His voice dropped low. “Quiet-”
Slowly, the hall fell silent.
Putting on a look of heartbreak, Norman said. “I know Dad already made the call. But Thora has betrayed the Greens. She’s no longer part of my family!”
That hit like a bomb.
Betraying the Greens meant she’d completely lost her right to inherit Silverleaf Pack.
The branch families, all hungry for the throne, immediately started scheming.
Norman continued, sounding outrageously righteous, “Thora has a terrible temper. She ignores pack rules and never learns. That’s my fault for not raising her right. I owe everyone an apology.”
He shifted, firm and commanding. “For the future of Silverleaf Pack, I’ve decided to take away Thora’s succession rights. What do you think?”
People glanced at each other, then nodded one by one.
“I’m with Norman!”
“Yeah. If Thora isn’t a Green anymore, she can’t inherit the Silverleaf Pack.”

Chapter 125 She Has Betrayed Us
Finished
“Exactly. Someone who hasn’t even awakened a wolf would only drag us down as Alpha. Our pack is already slipping!”
“Right…”
Norman smiled, satisfied.
As long as the majority agreed, even if Marlon favored Thora, he’d have to reconsider.
Otherwise, Thora could sit in the Alpha’s seat all she wanted, but the pack wouldn’t really accept her.
“I hear someone is trying to snatch my granddaughter’s throne!”
A deep growl boomed through the hall, making the air tense.
An older man, clearly over 50 but full of energy, walked in from outside. He leaned on a silver-handled cane, radiating an intimidating aura.
The bodyguards tried to stop him, but he brushed them aside without budging.
Many in the hall recognized him immediately.
“It’s Mr. Talon!”
“What’s he doing here?”
Whispers spread, and Norman jumped to his feet. “Evren?”
Evren sneered, his eyes glancing past Laurel and Hazel, resting on Norman. His tone was cold. “Don’t call me that! I don’t have such a disgraceful son-in-law!”
That line publicly humiliated Norman.
Hazel couldn’t resist, her voice dripping with jealousy and contempt. “And who are you? Since when do you get to decide anything here?”
She had hated Thora since childhood-and hated even more that Thora had such a powerful grandfather.
Even as a human, he had top-tier status in the Astralis Empire, enough to make even royals wary.
Her mother’s family? It was just a powerless Omega family that relied on the Greens for everything.
Evren’s eyes turned sharp, and his voice snapped like a whip. “Norman, is this how you raised your daughter? She doesn’t even know how to behave!”
Norman’s face kept changing color, embarrassed that his ex-father-in-law was calling him out in front of
everyone.
He held back his frustration and said, “You can’t just crash into the Greens’ family meeting.”
Then, he yelled toward the door, “Someone! Get Mr. Talon out of here!”
But Evren pushed past the guards and roared, “I’m here to see my granddaughter!”
