Chapter 173 Harvey’s Awakening
Regin landed on both feet, but the moment his soles touched the ground, his legs buckled hard. He almost dropped to his knees.
His expression changed as he stared at Harvey’s fists. They were nothing but torn flesh and exposed bone.
But from Harvey’s fists, wrists, arms, and even deeper inside his body, something was changing. A faint power was stirring.
Everyone thought Harvey was done. No one expected him to stand again.
Under Regin’s legs, surviving that strike was already a miracle. Getting back up to fight was basically impossible.
Tristan took two steps forward to pull him back. “Harvey!”
But before he could reach him, Harvey lifted one mangled hand and stopped him.
Even Dorian raised a brow. According to his calculations, Harvey shouldn’t be dead, but he should have been crippled.
But things weren’t going the way he expected.
Thora stayed perfectly calm, the corner of her mouth lifting. “I told you they can take a beating.”
Dorian blinked.
Harvey clenched his broken fists and slowly pushed himself up.
His hands were shredded to the bone. The injuries were so severe that even his healing ability couldn’t keep up.
Thora frowned slightly, worry flickering through her eyes.
Regin stared at Harvey. Shock turned into seriousness.
Harvey spat blood to the side.
Thora tore a strip of fabric from her clothes and tossed it toward him.
Harvey caught it and wrapped it around his ruined knuckles again. He glanced at her with gratitude.

“Come on! I’m not scared of you!” Harvey shouted coldly.
Without warning, he launched himself forward again.
This time he avoided Regin’s legs completely and targeted his upper body.
And this time, Harvey’s attacks were clearly far stronger than before.
Every punch he threw sliced through the air with a sharp whooshing sound.
He was covered in injuries, yet he fought with more power than before.
“Did Harvey transform or something? Why is he suddenly so strong?” Tristan muttered.
But Thora saw it clearly.
A faint energy was rising from Harvey’s body. It was weak but unmistakable. The kind only ability users possessed. He was awakening.
Even so, Harvey still got kicked hard by Regin.
He slammed across the ground, carving a deep groove as sparks flew from the friction.
His body was covered in torn wounds and blood.
Thora’s knuckles went white. Her expression sank.
Harvey tried to get up. His arms trembled. He lifted himself an inch before collapsing again.
