Chapter 174 The Second Match
Harvey didn’t argue again.
Thora’s orders were absolute.
He pushed himself up with difficulty and walked back with Tristan supporting him.
Regin didn’t pursue it. As long as the alpha didn’t order a kill, they would never act on their
own.
Harvey stopped in front of Thora, guilt in his voice. “Ms. Green.”
He wanted to hold out longer, but the gap between him and an ability user was simply too big.
And now, after facing one himself, he finally understood just how massive that gap was.
Meanwhile, Tristan had already stepped into Harvey’s place, standing before Regin.
Thora sat down again. When she saw the condition of Harvey’s hands, her expression darkened slightly.
“Get some rest.” Her tone was pure command. “Check your injuries and handle the emergency care yourself.”
“Yes, Ms. Green.” Harvey answered firmly.
He stepped behind Thora and began tending to his wounds with practiced efficiency.
Werewolves healed fast, but not from everything. Serious wounds could stall their regeneration, and untreated injuries could turn fatal.
Which was why emergency self-treatment was a required course for the Wolffang unit.
At that moment, Tristan launched at Regin without hesitation.
Regin had spent most of his energy fighting Harvey. Even with his mutation, he no longer had much advantage against Tristan.
Tristan specialized in close-quarters combat, especially in finding weak points.
So the moment he engaged, he avoided Regin’s lower body entirely.
Regin was starting to tire. His legs were useless now, since Tristan kept dodging instead of engaging him head-on.

His strength was worn down bit by bit as Tristan kept dodging every strike.
Thora wasn’t the least bit worried.
Even she, fighting Tristan hand-to-hand without abilities or wolf power, would split victories with him 50-50.
And Tristan was smart. After watching Regin’s fight with Harvey, he had already figured out Regin’s weak points.
Sure enough, five minutes later, Regin was fully overwhelmed.
Tristan struck Regin’s neck with a sharp hand chop, sending him crashing to the ground.
He lifted his elbow and slammed it down hard on Regin’s spine.
A crisp crack rang out. Regin’s backbone snapped, and he lost all ability to move.
Thora had expected this.
Ability power wasn’t infinite. When an ability user’s mental energy wore down, their power weakened and eventually failed.
The strength of a user’s mental energy determined their ceiling.
She had already assessed Regin’s ability during his fight with Harvey.
After Harvey’s damage, Regin had no chance against Tristan.
Tristan stood up straight and looked toward Thora. Only after she gave a satisfied nod did he grin in a wide, silent smile.
Dorian noticed something about the people around Thora. They carried a kind of unquestionable loyalty toward her.
It wasn’t just obedience. It was complete, unconditional trust.
Someone quickly carried Regin off the field.
Dorian’s expression was dark. “Your people hit hard.”
“If they don’t, they die.” Thora replied evenly.
Dorian’s eyes cooled. “Next.”
The woman among the remaining ability users stepped out.

She had blond hair, blue eyes, and a dangerously seductive figure that made every step look like temptation.
She sauntered up to Tristan, throwing him a heated wink.
Tristan didn’t react at all. His eyes stayed sharp and alert as he drew a military knife from his leg and held it across his chest.
“Hi, I’m Karina Wells.” She smiled brightly.
As she smiled, her pupils changed.
