Chapter 230 Mutual Affection
This was the second time Darius had kissed Thora.
The first time was two years ago, in a hotel pool.
Back then, it was clumsy and trembling. This time, it carried a man’s burning desire-hot and overwhelming.
“Thora…” His voice came out low and rough, pulling her in like temptation itself.
Thora was caught off guard. Her mind went blank.
She never realized she could react this slowly.
Just as she snapped out of it and tried to push him away, his gentle voice froze her in place again.
When Darius felt her resistance fade, a smile flickered in his eyes, and he deepened the kiss.
Until Amie teased her through the mind-link. “Thora, your heart rate is almost at 120. Looks like he affects you more than you think.”
Thora frowned. She realized she had been letting Darius kiss her without fighting back.
The loss of control irritated her. The weird feelings annoyed her more.
She twisted her wrist, grabbed both of Darius’s hands, and flipped him onto the couch.
They wrestled across the sofa before rolling onto the carpet.
Thora ended up on top of him, her legs locking his firmly.
Darius didn’t resist at all. He only wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her in until they were pressed tightly together.
Thora looked at his smiling face, then at his lips.
She leaned down and kissed him hard-messy and fierce.
There was no romance in it at all. Only the urge to win.
Darius froze for a second. Then closed his eyes and enjoyed it, his body heating under her.
When Thora finally saw his lips turn red from her biting, she lifted her head with satisfaction.

Chapter 230 Mutual Affection
Darius didn’t mind her terrible kissing at all.
He only stared up at her, eyes burning hot enough to fill the room.
“Thora, maybe not here. Let’s go to the bedroom?”
His tone-acting innocent after stealing all the benefits-made Thora furious.
She planted her hand on the floor for leverage, freed her legs, and drove her knee up…
Darius moved instantly. He flipped sideways, sprang up, and landed neatly on his feet.

“If I hadn’t dodged, our future together would be pretty rough,” he said with a grin, wiping the corner of his mouth.
Thora stood tall, her expression cold as ice. “Don’t push your luck.”
Darius smiled more deeply.
Push
my luck? I want to do far worse. I want every part of you. What do I do with that?
Still, today’s outcome was better than he ever imagined.
