Chapter 262 I Need This
After successfully forcing the car to stop, Thora yanked the door open and dragged the driver out.
Finished
Her strength was overwhelming. Roxen was completely unprepared and was hauled out of the car before he could even react.
“Sorry. I’m borrowing this. I need it,” Thora said. With that, she slid into the driver’s seat, stomped on the gas, and the car shot forward.
From stopping the car, to pulling the driver out, to taking the driver’s seat, the entire sequence flowed seamlessly.
By the time Roxen hit the ground, the car was already a blur in the distance.
Only then did he vaguely recall the words she had left behind before disappearing. “Blue Star Military Academy is waiting for me.”
Roxen stared in the direction the car vanished, his emerald-green eyes narrowing slightly as his golden curls gleamed under the sunlight.
“Roxen, didn’t you say you were just sightseeing? How did you catch up so fast?” a man’s surprised voice came through the earpiece.
Roxen’s voice turned cold. “Take a closer look. Who do you think was in that car?”
“Wasn’t it you? It was too fast to see clearly. Damn it. One second, we were talking. The next, the car was gone. That speed was insane.”
“I took a quick look. That wasn’t Roxen. It looked like a woman,” another voice added.
“Roxen, what exactly happened?”
A cold curve lifted at Roxen’s lips. “Isn’t it obvious? My car got stolen.”
The moment he said it, the screech of brakes echoed from several nearby vehicles, and chaos erupted over the comms with stunned shouts.
They had not misheard. Roxen’s car had actually been taken.
Who would dare do something like that? It was absurdly bold,
Roxen ripped off the earpiece impatiently, his gaze still locked in the direction Thora had gone.
Blue Star Military Academy…
A trace of cold interest lingered at his pale pink lips.
It seemed this year’s new recruits were going to be very entertaining.
He suddenly felt impatient to see it for himself.

Chapter 262 I Need This
After stealing the car, Thora floored it straight toward the registration site.
She pushed the speed to the limit, the car tearing down the road like a bolt of lightning.
Finished
When she reached for the navigation system, she realized the preset route already led to the Blue Star Military Academy registration point.
Her brows drew together. That meant the previous owner was likely heading there as well.
That idea was quickly dismissed. Registration had already been open for some time, and even at that speed, arriving would still be past the deadline.
So that person could not have been an applicant.
With that realization, Thora let go of any remaining guilt.
She never abandoned her own chances, but she would never steal someone else’s.
Her fingers flew across the control panel, instantly pushing every performance setting to its maximum.
Vrooom!
The engine’s roar tore through the air, leaving nothing behind but an afterimage.
Bystanders barely caught a glimpse before the car vanished from sight.
Dong!
A heavy bell rang out from the top of the arched building at the recruitment site.
“Ten minutes left.” Dominic glanced at his watch and took over the countdown from Luke.
