In the large surveillance room, dozens of staff members in Blue Star Military Academy uniforms sat at their screens, each focused on their assigned duties.

Everything ran smoothly, with the kind of discipline unique to a military setting.

A man stood in the center, his features sharp and his brown hair neatly styled. He wore a blue-violet uniform. His sleeve bore the academy crest, and the black bars on his epaulets marked him as someone of high rank.

The man was Valen Mercer, nicknamed “Tyrant.” He was the commander for this year’s entrance exam.

“As of now, a total of 1,030 applicants have passed the first checkpoint,” an assistant reported.

Valen nodded. “That’s about the same as last year.”

“But there are still a few people outside who haven’t checked in. Looks like they’re waiting for someone. Time’s almost up-they probably won’t make it,” the assistant added.

Valen glanced at the screen, but it was clear he wasn’t interested in them.

“Three minutes left.” Luke frowned, taking over the countdown from Dominic.

Now, they were the candidates who still hadn’t gone in.

Everyone else was already inside, and the staff were getting ready to wrap up.

Shirley jumped down from a tree branch, her eyes suddenly lighting up white as she stared into the distance.

Her expression changed, then she broke into a big grin. “Thora’s coming!”

Everyone immediately perked up.

When they looked out, all they saw was a tiny black dot speeding toward them.

Within seconds, that dot became a racing sports car.

No one could see who was inside, but if Shirley said so, there was no doubt-it had to be Thora.

That was her “Hawk Eye” ability at work. While most werewolves couldn’t see a thing at that distance, Shirley could pick up on a target’s presence-even through obstacles.

Besides, no one else drove like that. That kind of speed and sharp cornering could only belong to Thora.
