The Apocalyptic Queen's Werewolf Journey (Thora and Darius) novel Chapter 291

Chapter 291 Fight Me

Thora kept moving ahead, cutting through thick plants in her way.

She had just cleared one stretch of jungle when she spotted two people fighting up ahead.

Finished

The rules strictly forbade killing, so neither of them dared go all out. They didn’t even use wolf power, which only dragged the fight out longer.

Thora sat down instead, hiding in the grass and watching in silence, waiting to see who would win.

She never passed up a chance to conserve her stamina.

“Give me your number tag, and I’ll let you go!”

“Dream on! Go to hell!”

They shouted insults while fighting, each trying to grab the other’s tag.

At this stage, everyone was on their own, which made it the best time to snatch tags.

Later on, people would start grouping up to rob others. Then it would get harder to take fragments, and some wouldn’t even bother keeping their own tags.

So for now, the choices were clear-team up early or grab as many tags as possible while they could.

Those two clearly picked the second option.

Thora casually plucked a blade of grass and sniffed. After confirming it wasn’t toxic, she popped it into her mouth and chewed.

The moisture eased the dryness in her mouth and helped kill time.

“So boring.

“They’re not even as good as Luke.

“I could finish them with one swipe.”

Amie commented disdainfully.

After three minutes, Thora ran out of patience. She spat out the grass, stood up, and rolled her neck.

In a flash, she darted straight into the fight.

Before either of them could track her, both were knocked flat on the ground, unable to stand again.

Black combat boots stepped up to them. Thora bent down and calmly took their number tags.

“So weak,” she said flatly, then turned to leave,

“Number 230! If you’ve got the nerve, fight me one-on-one!” one of them shouted, full of resentment.

Chapter 291 Fight Me

Thora thought she’d misheard and glanced back in confusion. “One-on-one?”

The other guy couldn’t help cursing him out. “Are you an idiot?! She just soloed with both of us!”

The challenger instantly shut up, not daring to yell again. Weakly, he said, “G-give … give me my tag back.”

Thora looked at him and replied coolly, “I honestly wonder how someone with your IQ even passed the first round.”

She ignored them after that and walked away.

The two men stared at each other, full of regret.

If they hadn’t been busy fighting each other, they wouldn’t have been picked off so easily!

They wanted to chase her, but their bodies felt heavy and numb. That kick nearly broke them. Moving was impossible, let alone chasing her.

Thora flipped over the two tags she took and checked the map fragments on the back.

After comparing them with her own, she saw that one fragment was the same as hers.

A duplicate fragment was useless.

There were over 600 candidates in the second round, but only 100 completed maps. The odds of pulling a matching piece were about one in six.

And with fragments repeating so often, the challenge wasn’t just harder-it wiped people out fast.

But there was a loophole here. She didn’t actually need a full map to leave the island.

What mattered was how much key info she had, plus her ability to observe, think, and manage time.

From what she knew, Blue Star Military Academy never accepted more than 100 students a year, and the elimination rate climbed every round.

That made her curious about how brutal the final round would be.
