The Apocalyptic Queen's Werewolf Journey (Thora and Darius) novel Chapter 306

Chapter 306 Who Do You Think Will Win?

She was this close-just a hair’s breadth away!

Thora narrowly dodged the attack. Not even a single strand of hair was touched.

Tristan slipped to the side and watched from close range.

Every time Thora fought, he felt both thrilled and terrified.

Even though he trusted her completely, he cared too much-and caring too much messed with his nerves.

As Shirley liked to put it, he simply couldn’t help himself.

This was Thora’s second direct confrontation with Sierra.

The first time had been in Sky Casino, when she teamed up with Lance. It was also her first time facing an assassin-type powerhouse head-on.

Later, when Ashwolf clashed repeatedly with the thief syndicate, they encountered more of the Twelve Generals-not just Sierra and Frost, but others who were even stronger. And yet, out of all of them, it was this woman named Sierra who intrigued Thora the most.

Thora focused entirely on the fight, not daring to relax for even a second.

The two of them were locked in a one-on-one exchange. Even barehanded, Thora didn’t let Sierra’s twin daggers touch her at all.

Sierra’s movement was ghostlike, her killing techniques so refined they were dizzying to watch.

Instant invisibility, stealth, and dual-wielding techniques flowed seamlessly into one another, layered with enhancements from wolf power and special abilities. Her speed and strength surged explosively.

Every strike targeted a vital point. One hit meant certain death.

Tristan couldn’t help but hold his breath. He hadn’t expected this woman to be so terrifyingly strong.

Shirley sat down, unwrapped a piece of candy, popped it into her mouth, and watched the fight while chewing.

Draven’s gaze turned icy. As if casually, he took two steps forward and stopped beside Ryan.

Ryan suddenly felt someone tap his shoulder. He spun around instantly, muscles tensing, on full alert.

But Draven didn’t do anything else. After the single tap, he fixed his eyes straight ahead, focused entirely on

the battle.

Ryan was baffled and shuffled a couple of steps sideways.

What was that about?

He’d noticed Draven back when he first showed up with Thora. Something about him felt oddly familiar.

But Draven hadn’t spared him a glance-his attention had been locked on Thora-so they clearly didn’t know each other.

Then why tap him for no reason?

He subconsciously rubbed the spot where he’d been touched and suddenly sensed something off. The pain in his chest felt lighter than before.

Still confused, Ryan quickly turned his attention back to the fight.

Sierra appeared soundlessly at Thora’s side. But Thora’s body reacted faster than her mind-at the instant Sierra closed in, she’d already shifted out of every lethal angle.

And at that exact moment-Sierra vanished again.

Riiip-

By the time Thora registered the shift in position, a sharp, searing pain had already exploded through her forearm. A gash nearly eight inches long was torn open in an instant, blood spilling freely.

“Boss!” Tristan’s eyes went ice-cold.

Shirley shot to her feet. “Thora!”

Draven’s obsidian-brown pupils frosted over in a split second-but beyond that, he showed no outward reaction.

At that moment, three men in dark-blue military uniforms were revealed high in the trees not far away, their presence previously hidden.

One of them had delicate, almost refined features. Golden hair was sliced by the shadows of the leaves, scattering into flecks of silvery light. He lounged against the trunk with one long leg bent, his gaze fixed on Thora’s group.

From their elevated vantage point, they had a clear view of the entire fight between Thora and Sierra.

It was obvious-they’d been there since the moment the two started fighting.

“Roxen, isn’t that candidate the one who stole your car on registration day?” Mike’s voice carried a note of excitement. “And she actually made it into the second round. At this rate, she might advance to the third and become our junior.”

A good-looking junior with real strength? Mike was more than happy to welcome that.

“I wouldn’t be so sure,” Carlos Acadia said coolly. “Judging by her ability, she could be a ‘hunter’ hiding among the examinees. If that’s the case, she absolutely cannot be allowed into the academy.”
