Chapter 305 Together or Never

Sierra knew there was no way out anymore.

From the thief syndicate’s past clashes with Ashwolf, she knew exactly who that girl with the sniper rifle was. Aside from the Ashwolf Boss herself, she was the most dangerous person on the battlefield.

It didn’t matter whether they could make it out of the forest. Even if they somehow escaped, as long as they stayed within her line of sight, they’d be nothing more than moving targets.

“Sierra… I’m sorry.” Frost bit down hard on his lower lip.

If he hadn’t acted on impulse-trying to capture Ryan and Tristan to score credit with Corey-things never would have spiraled this far.

Sierra didn’t respond. She just stared at Thora, her expression cold and steady, twin daggers crossed in front of her in a ready stance.

A chill curve touched her lips. “There’s nothing to apologize for. We survive together or not at all.”

Tristan’s gaze darkened. He wiped his combat knife against his sleeve. “Boss, I’ll take care of her.”

In a one-on-one fight, he convinced he wouldn’t lose.

He’d barely taken a step forward when Thora stopped him.

Tristan raised a brow. Is Boss planning to step in herself?

The thought sent his blood surging, excitement lighting his eyes.

“With me, you don’t get a third chance,” Thora said, every word landing hard.

Sierra’s heart sank.

She knew exactly what Thora was referring to-the first round of the exam, when they’d attacked Ashwolf members.

This was the second time.

“This has nothing to do with him. If you want blood, come for me,” Sierra said, eyes locked on Thora.

Thora stepped forward, feet spreading into a stable fighting stance.

She looked young. Yet the pressure rolling off her felt like a mountain bearing down on them.

She looked at Sierra and let out a cold laugh. “You don’t get to make demands.”

That settled it.

And it was the truth.

The weak don’t get a say.

The corner of Tristan’s mouth lifted. His focus never left the figure ahead.

In his eyes, no one standing before her ever had the right to challenge her-no matter who they were, no matter how terrifying their abilities.

Sierra’s gaze turned icy. Killing intent rolled off her in waves, thick enough to make the air feel heavy.

She

spun the twin daggers once in her palm and clenched her grip.

Gray wolf power mixed with her awakened ability, flowing like viscous liquid along her skin and into the blades.

For most of the werewolves, shifting meant greater strength and speed. But for assassins like her and Frost, staying human was the advantage.

Their weapons were extensions of their bodies. A human form was smaller, sharper, and easier to conceal- and paired with abilities, it represented the pinnacle of assassination.

Still, she found herself curious. What does Ashwolf Boss look like after transforming?

So unlike with Tristan, she didn’t rush in to deny her opponent the chance to shift. She waited.

Yet Thora didn’t transform. She didn’t even draw a weapon.

She clenched one hand into a fist. Blue wolf power surged around her body, joints cracking sharply as power flooded her frame.

“I’ll give you one chance,” Thora said. “If you beat me, you walk away-and you take him with you.”
