The Apocalyptic Queen's Werewolf Journey (Thora and Darius) novel Chapter 341

Chapter 341 I Trust You

:

In the split second of danger, Thora had already swung the rope back down.

Finished

Ashley jumped up at once, wrapped her arms around Thora’s legs, pushed herself upward, and then grabbed Thora’s thigh tightly.

Their teamwork was so smooth it felt like they had practiced it countless times. Every timing and every landing was perfect. Even being 0.1 seconds late would have trapped them inside the building.

“Roar!”

The monsters below let out furious roars, but the height was far beyond their reach, so all they could do was scream in rage.

Thora, hanging onto Ashley, swung straight out through the building’s window.

Their bodies flew out like diving fish. They rolled twice on the ground before landing firmly.

But the moment they stood up, dense crowds of monsters filled their view again. Roars rose one after another, making the scene terrifying.

“Flight!” Ashley activated the power of her card and immediately grabbed Thora tightly.

The two of them shot into the air at once and flew over the monsters’ heads.

The monsters below could only look up and leap wildly, like sharks jumping out of the sea to hunt, all completely useless.

They flew straight across the monster zone and landed safely inside the fenced area.

Thora stood up, brushed the dust off her clothes, and looked back. Outside the iron fence— about 16 feet high-the monsters were still waving their claws and roaring nonstop. The sight was horrifying.

She had wanted to use her card power as well, but each card could only be used twice. The restriction was strict.

Ashley had already made the first move.

“You really are worth trusting,” Ashley said, her blue eyes fixed on Thora.

Thinking back to the close call inside the building, Thora suddenly asked, “Weren’t you afraid I’d just leave on my own and abandon you there?”

Chapter 341 I Trust You

Finished

Ashley using her hands as a step and letting Thora grab the rope first had truly surprised her.

Given their competitive relationship, it would not have been impossible for Thora to escape alone and leave Ashley behind. After all, one less rival meant one less threat.

“I told you. I trust you,” Ashley said with a light laugh.

Thora stared at her for a long moment, her gaze sharp and full of scrutiny.

Ashley took out the card she had just collected. Golden light flashed twice in her palm, and the card vanished.

“Running into you here is such a coincidence. How about we team up again and finish the mission together?” Ashley suggested with a smile.

Thora asked coldly, “Was it you who sabotaged the Blue Star Military Academy recruitment?”

Ashley froze for a moment. Her eyes turned dark and cold. “Are you joking? Why would I sabotage Blue Star Military Academy’s recruitment?”

“Is it fun hiding your identity and pretending to be a woman?” Thora asked with a faint smile, her tone icy.

Ashley replied calmly, “You think I’m a man?”

“You’ve been deliberately getting close to us since the first test, haven’t you?” Thora said firmly. “In the second test, besides regular candidates, academy staff were mixed in. They were looking for someone-the killer on the island. And that person was you.”

She had already noticed academy staff on the island and guessed they were the blond man and his companions.

If they were searching on the island, their target had to be the serial killer among the candidates.

Aside from the two killers from the Mirage Corsairs, the only other suspect with terrifying strength was Ashley.

With the clues Ashton had secretly given her, Thora had already locked onto Ashley’s identity when she left the island. She just hadn’t exposed it.

Ashley showed no anger or panic at being exposed. Instead, her smile deepened, as if she were enjoying a great show. “Anything else?”

The corner of Thora’s mouth twitched slightly, and she walked slowly toward Ashley,

Catching Ashley off guard, Thora suddenly grabbed her arm.
