The Apocalyptic Queen's Werewolf Journey (Thora and Darius) novel Chapter 92

Chapter 92 Recruit Thora

Third-person POV:

“What is it?” Felix asked.

Thora tapped her fingers lightly on the steering wheel.

It was, of course, that engagement with Darius that everyone was talking about.

She had wanted to wait a few days for things to settle down before going to Darius to call it off.

Finished

But after Astralis College was attacked, her name was back on the trending posts, and people were talking about the engagement even more.

“It’s nothing. We’re going home,” Thora said, pressing the gas and driving toward the Greens’ place in Silverleaf Pack.

Anyway, the excitement over the engagement would die down sooner or later. Cancelling it could wait until the fuss passed.

What Thora didn’t realize was that by the time things calmed down, she’d already be tied to Darius forever …

Astralis College closed for three days after the attack. The Astralis Empire and the school board had already given compensation to the families of the students who died.

Some of the campus’s equipment was damaged, but because Thora had defused five timed bombs in time, the school wasn’t completely destroyed. Repairs were happening step by step. Otherwise, even with the blast shields, the explosions would have leveled the campus.

While Thora rested at home, Hazel kept shouting that Thora had tried to kill her.

If Felix hadn’t explained that Hazel was just scared and confused, Norman and his wife might have rushed to the hospital to punish Thora.

When Thora and Felix got home, there was only a servant inside./

Norman had taken Hazel out to calm her down, forgetting that Felix had said he would bring Thora back that day.

Felix looked around the empty living room, frowning.

“That’s fine. I don’t feel like starting a fight,” Thora said flatly, heading upstairs.

The only reason she had come back was for two things: to find out the truth about Diane’s death and to protect the Silverleaf Pack inheritance that rightfully belonged to her.

Meanwhile, at the Starlance Military Headquarters.

Hugo and several officers sat in the meeting room, watching a video.

Chapter 92 Recruit Thora

The video showed Thora directing the students and leading them to fight back against the Greywolf.

Finished

As they watched, the officers couldn’t stay seated any longer. One by one, they stood up, eyes wide with

excitement.

Hugo looked at their reactions, a small smile hidden in his eyes.

The first time he had seen this, he had been more excited than anyone. Now, he just kept his cool in front of

his team.

“What incredible military skills!” one officer said, unable to hide his praise.

“She stays calm, makes smart decisions, and tells everyone what to do efficiently. So young, and already a natural commander!”

“You don’t get this good without years of training and real battle experience.”

One officer turned to Hugo, speaking quickly, “Mr. Stanton, who is this kid? Was she specially trained by our special forces?”

These were Hugo’s close subordinates, so they spoke freely.

Hugo shook his head, keeping his eyes on Thora in the video as she gave orders smoothly. “No. The records are clear. She has no military training. She hasn’t even awakened her wolf spirit.”

The officers looked at each other, shocked. “What?! No wolf spirit, no extra wolf power, and she still took down that many mercenaries just on skill?”

“If that’s true, then she’s a total combat genius! She’s already amazing. Once her wolf spirit wakes up, she could do anything!”

“Mr. Stanton, we can’t let someone this talented slip away. If other empires notice her, they’ll grab her for sure!”

Hugo paused for a moment, then said slowly, “I’ve been thinking about adding her to the special operations unit we’re forming. Honestly, even if her wolf spirit isn’t awake yet, her field command sense and combat skills are good enough to bring her in on a special enlistment. I wanted your opinions on this.”

The officers exchanged looks, silently ribbing him. Hugo was clearly showing off and fishing for approval, just like when he found that rare wolf power ore years ago.

Putting jokes aside, no one disagreed.

Thora’s skills were way beyond excellent.

“Mr. Stanton, even without an awakened wolf spirit, her smart tactics, solid combat skills, and how she held the team together during the counterattack make her more than qualified as an outstanding soldier. I recommend we recruit her.”
