After selecting her privilege, the loot appeared.
“You have obtained Twisted Gaze Strand (Bronze-tier) ×122.”
“You have obtained Twisted Gaze Strand (Silver-tier) 21.”
“You have obtained Ring of the Twisted Gaze (Silver-tier):
“Spirit +200.
“Special Effects: Burn Effect +1, Blind Duration +1 second, Stealth Detection Level +1.
“Note: A byproduct of an unknown evil god’s casual glance.”
The drop rate was astounding.
She didn’t know what the eyeball materials were used for, but Silver-tier items sold for hundreds of thousands each-about one-tenth the price of Silver gear.
Bronze-tier materials still went for over ten thousand each.
In one run, Joanna earned at least three million, plus a Silver-tier ring.
Jewelry was rare, which made it even more valuable. She had only bought a Silver-tier Venom Spider Lady set before. Her current ring was Bronze-tier, so it was a perfect upgrade.
The stats weren’t great, though. All three were bonus-effect stats. Aside from the first one, she couldn’t even use the others. She had no Blindness or Stealth Detection skills.
With the dungeon cleared and all monsters gone, Joanna’s sight returned. She finally saw the aftermath.
The destruction was shocking.
ked like a nuclear blast site. Buildings were shattered, glass had melted, and fires ywhere. Every shop was destroyed, along with all food and clothing.
the jewelry store hadn’t survived the Sun Storm.
Gold melted at just 1,947 F. Alwyn’s blast erased every supply in the area.
Resources farther away might still exist, but was that the priority now?
The real prize was the massive experience gain from a Nightmare-tier first clear.

Her experience bar jumped from Level 16’s 2% to 5%.
It didn’t seem like much, but after 32 more runs, she’d hit Level 17.
This dungeon only required Alwyn to cast one Sun Storm. Including reset time, entry, exit, and looting, each run would take about five minutes.
That meant leveling up in just over two and a half hours.
With ten days before the cross-stellar trial, nonstop farming could push her to Level 20. That would let her contract another companion.
Clearing a new dungeon is the best!
Joanna exited immediately.
She reappeared right in Maverick’s view.
He rushed over, scanning her nervously. “How was it? Was it insanely hard? If it’s too much, don’t force it.”
“It’s fine. Not too hard. I cleared it. No time to explain now. I need to farm it while the difficulty is still high. The drops might be unique, and the experience is great.”
Joanna selected the dungeon and went right back in.
Maverick froze, eyes wide. He was speechless.
Did I hear that right?
She was only in there for a few minutes. How was it already cleared?
Is she serious?
He could only wait, anxious and unsettled. Still, the first-kill reward for the “Gaze of the Unknown Evil God” dungeon had indeed been claimed.
New dungeons appeared daily, so there was no system-wide announcement.
But that didn’t mean people wouldn’t notice.
After midnight, anyone checking the records would see Joanna’s clear time of just over two minutes, almost right after the dungeon spawned.
Who else could it be?

Even without the first clear, finishing a Nightmare-tier dungeon proved her strength..
She was terrifyingly strong.
Maverick only hoped Joanna would show him the team record when she came out.
First clears had a special badge attached to the record.
