The Battle Queen They Blindly Kicked Out (Joanna) novel Chapter 144

Chapter 144 Slapped

“Pay 10 billion Starcoins or be my girlfriend. I think any woman would choose that, right?”

Joanna stood there with her arms crossed. Before she could speak, an angry roar exploded from beside her.

“You talk too much. Get lost.”

Lucien stepped forward, ready to punch Garfield. With his strength, he could have knocked out all of Garfield’s teeth.

At that moment, Nighthowl and Alwyn grabbed him at the same time.

“Don’t act rashly!”

They had been here for over a month already, so they understood the rules of this world.

Simply put, the main planet was a safe zone. You couldn’t attack people freely, or the Tribunal would intervene.

Joanna could use the charge of “harming a genius of the Interstellar Alliance” to punish the Kayden family, but she could also be imprisoned under that same charge.

The man in front of them was a member of the Divine and Demonic Training Program, definitely an SSS-rank talent. He really could send Joanna to jail.

Unless Joanna wanted to flee forever, she had to follow the rules of the Interstellar Alliance.

“Damn! You can actually put up with this?”

Lucien glared at Nighthowl and Alwyn.

Joanna patted Lucien’s arm, telling him to step aside, and whispered in his ear, “You can fight later in the Arena. It’ll be a good chance to test their strength.”

Only then did Lucien move away.

Joanna walked out of the apartment. After stepping into the hallway, she closed the door and said to Garfield, “I saw your post online. I won’t choose either of your options.

“If you want 10 billion Starcoins, I’ve already recorded what you just said. I’ll report you to the Tribunal for extortion.

“If you want me to be your girlfriend, then see me in the Arena. I challenged everyone. Anyone who doesn’t show up is trash. You wouldn’t dare skip it, right?”

After using her provocation, disgust filled Joanna’s gaze.

“If that substitute dummy is so valuable, why didn’t you keep it at home? Why carry it around with you?”

She waved at Nighthowl.

“Let’s go to the Arena.”

Nighthowl nodded. Starlight shimmered around him, and the four of them vanished from the

spot.

Garfield stood there in a daze. They had just left like that? How did they leave?

He hadn’t come alone. He brought four people from his faction, ranked second through tenth in his sub-dimension, for a total of five people. His plan was to block Joanna at her apartment door and force her to submit.

Normally, a young girl would already be shaking in fear or blushing in embarrassment. But on Joanna’s face, Garfield saw only one emotion-disdain.

She clearly looked down on him. Especially now, as he faced the closed apartment door, he felt like he had been slapped hard across the face.

At that moment, someone with him cried out.

“That Joanna really replied! She said she’s challenging everyone in the Arena!”

Only then did Garfield open the group chat Keith had created. The chat was in chaos, and what he said ten minutes ago now looked like a joke.

[I’ve already found Joanna’s apartment number. I’m going to grab her and make her my girlfriend. You’d better be ready to honor the bet!]

Not only did he fail to catch her, but she escaped right in front of him—and even despised him.

“Damn it, hurry up! If she goes to the Arena now and loses to someone else, won’t I lose?”

Even now, he still believed Joanna couldn’t defeat the others.

He didn’t really care about credits. What he cared about was his pride.

Garfield rushed to the hallway window, jumped out, and a floating hoverboard appeared under his feet as he sped toward the Arena.
