The Battle Queen They Blindly Kicked Out (Joanna) novel Chapter 198

Chapter 198 Are You Going to Kill Me?

He hadn’t expected to get dragged into this.

And by the look of things, the person who caught him was actually an illusionist?

A whip cracked down on him a moment later.

“Ah!”

His scream rang out, the kind of pain that went straight to the soul. He couldn’t fight it.

Joanna spoke up.

“Do you want to avoid more pain? I have a few questions for you. Answer them, and I’ll let you go.”

“I’ll talk, I’ll talk, just stop hitting me.”

“So, when you guys released the godbound last time, were there any new members? Any S-rank talents? There were four people, and one was a woman…” Joanna described the group.

The sleazy man immediately understood who Joanna meant.

“It was Viola, the Bloodmoon Saintess, and her new recruits. One’s named Lucas, and another’s last name is Hex. I don’t know him, but yeah, there were four of them.”

“Where are they now?”

“They’re gone. They teleported away. I have no idea where they went!”

They really did run fast.

Joanna frowned.

But the crease between her brows quickly smoothed out.

It didn’t matter. If they got away, they got away. She’d get back at Bloodmoon all the same.

“Take me to your teleport portal.”

Joanna released the Spirit Lash, then used Astral Step, dragging the man out of the hall and moving half a mile in parallel, deep into the dungeon.

Inside, panic was spreading. Some people were rushing around. Joanna’s outfit was common here. Plus, these people had already betrayed the Space Alliance, which meant they’d lost access

to the system-no more support features after their panels were wiped.

That system function was what marked friends from foes.

Through Joanna’s eyes, criminals all had a red glow around them. Teammates shone with pale blue light, and friendly bounty hunters glowed white.

But the dungeon’s residents had no idea Joanna wasn’t one of them.

Joanna dragged the sleazy man toward the teleport portal.

Light kept flickering inside the portal. Some people stayed to fight, while others tried to escape.

Joanna didn’t rush in. Instead, she called for backup on the bounty hunter channel.

“I found their teleport portal. It’s still intact. Is there a teleport mage who can come copy the portal’s coordinates? We might find more Bloodmoon bases this way.”

“I’m on it. Invite me!”

A level 59 teleport mage named Cameron replied in the bounty hunter channel. Joanna immediately left Fern’s team and joined Cameron Bristol’s squad.

That team also had five hundred people. As a glow appeared around Joanna, not only did Cameron arrive, but so did all his five hundred teammates.

Bloodmoon’s people noticed right away and shouted.

“Enemy attack!”

“It’s a teleport mage! Destroy the portal. Don’t let them near it!”

“Everyone, fight for Bloodmoon! The Evil God will accept your blood sacrifice into the Divine Realm!”

A wild-haired man yelled.

With the help of the Space Alliance system, words appeared above his head.

Wanted criminal: Skylar Camden, level 59.

He attacked, killing seven or eight of his own. The moment he activated Bloodlust Circle, a swarm of giant pythons emerged from the corpses.

The pythons grew larger as the wind hit them.

These snakes seemed hastily summoned and weren’t as strong as twin pythons, but they

quickly blocked everyone’s path. A few people ran off to break the formation.

At this point, Joanna couldn’t stand by.

“Stop them.”

Nighthowl, Alwyn, and Lucien attacked together, taking out everyone near the teleport portal. Nighthowl cast Lunar Aegis, a shield that wrapped the portal in a barrier.

Skylar summoned even more pythons.

The crowd was about to be swallowed up by snakes.

“Nighthowl, collect the pythons,” Joanna reminded.

Nighthowl caught on and swept all the snakes into the Star Realm.

Suddenly, the field was clear.
