Chapter 228 Blacklisted
“You’re not secretly sent by a rival team, are you? Go find another group. We can’t carry you!”
Before he could explain, the team leader kicked him out.
He had no choice but to look for another team and try again. For many assignments, he had to join several teams just to finish one run. Worse still, his reputation slowly spread. People said he was bad and always dragged the team down.
Soon, other students stopped inviting him to dungeons.
He never expected the strongest contestant from the old Star Domain Battle, even from a different school, to still be ruling his college life.
Back then, Joanna had blocked over 20,000 people. Now, other students were starting to face the same problem, and as college life went on, her influence only kept growing.
Divine and Demon Academy.
Blackwood Abyss Dungeon.
Another dungeon run ended.
This time, the applicants weren’t just freshmen. There was even a sophomore. Wade Hoffman, a former team leader who used to charge others credits to join his runs,
He came because he wanted to see for himself how Joanna cleared dungeons.
But the moment he entered, his worldview cracked.
Wasn’t Joanna a Summoner?
Why didn’t she summon a single contract beast?
The skills she used looked more like forbidden-level spells.
The dungeon was cleared fast, so fast that the rest of the team barely had anything to do.
They were there mostly to check off the assignment.
The whole run ended in under 20 minutes.
And that wasn’t all. After the boss fell, Joanna chopped down every tree in the dungeon.

“Take as much as you can carry,” she said calmly. “I’ll take the rest. There’s also some wild in the forest. You can grab that too.”
“Ah! Thank you, Joanna!”
“Joanna is seriously amazing!”
Only Wade stared at her in shock. “You can take all of it? How big is your storage space?”
Joanna glanced at him. “That’s not a polite question.”
Asking about someone’s gear or skills was crossing the line.

Spatial gear was the most expensive equipment there was. It directly affected profit. No one shared that information.
But Wade wasn’t listening. He was staring at the fallen trees, counting them in his head. Estimating their value.
All the trees in Blackwood Abyss were worth at least one billion Starcoins.
Sure, all of them were elite students. Once they entered the Academy, the gap became clear. Some rose fast. Others struggled to catch up. Outside sponsors didn’t just give free money either. Most rewards came after graduation, tied to contracts or loans.
When you’re in debt, even one extra coin matters. And since Wade had paid credits to get in, he wasn’t about to lose out.
“If you take everything, that’s way too much profit,” he said angrily. “We’re a team. You should share some with us. I did work too. One-fifth isn’t unreasonable, right?”
The other three teammates looked at him like he was a joke.
The next second, Wade got a system message.
“You have been removed from the team by Joanna Lane.”
Once out of the team, he was instantly teleported out of the dungeon. He didn’t even get to take a single piece of wood.
His face burned with anger. He immediately sent Joanna a private message.
Another system alert popped up.
“You have been blacklisted by Joanna Lane.”

“Are you kidding me?!” he yelled. “She’s just a freshman! How dare she treat me like this? I’ll ruin her for this!”
Inside the dungeon, the rest of the team felt nothing but contempt.
Joanna led the run. Joanna dealt the damage. The spatial gear was Joanna’s. How did he even have the nerve to ask for a cut?
When Joanna issued the kick order, all three agreed without hesitation.
Even a team leader couldn’t kick someone unless the others approved.
“So that’s a sophomore? Greedy and embarrassing.”
