The Battle Queen They Blindly Kicked Out (Joanna) novel Chapter 30

Chapter 30 Transform

As for who the summoner was, no one bothered to look into it.

“Do you want to enter the dungeon: Desolate Castle?”

Nighthowl could see the prompt, too.

“Yes!”

“Detected: You’re the contracted partner of the summoner Joanna. Entering will automatically deduct 100,000 Starcoins from Joanna’s account. Yes or No?”

Nighthowl paused, then picked No.

Joanna probably only had around 300,000 Starcoins left. That meant at most three more dungeon runs.

Was there any dungeon that didn’t charge money?

While he was thinking, nearby voices floated over.

“The undead plague broke out again in the Necro Plane. Public missions keep getting harder. Even if it’s free, I’m not going.”

“Only players under Level 10 can enter, but the space channel limit is trash. We’re fighting a Level-30 Necromancer. Going in is just suicide.”

“Pioneer teams aren’t for normal people.”

“Only cannon fodder would go. Even dogs wouldn’t.”

“I’m broke.”

“Same here. Dead broke.”

“What about a public dungeon?”

The two people who’d been complaining finally walked toward another teleport portal.

Nighthowl followed them and stopped in front of a much larger teleport portal.

“Do you wish to enter the Menethil Plane? This area only allows professionals under Level 10. Danger level: Extremely High. Bonus reward: 10,000 Starcoins for exploration. Yes or No?”

“Yes!”

This time, Nighthowl entered.

The moment he arrived, furious roars echoed everywhere. There were far more people than expected. He activated Celestial Gaze and scanned the area.

He stood inside a small village, a bit bigger than the Fang Imp dungeon. At the center was a massive crystal core carved with glowing circles, opening a swirling space vortex nearly 300 feet above it.

Outside the village, skeletons filled the land as far as the eye could see.

Human and beast skeletons slammed nonstop toward the village.

There were no walls. Countless professionals rushed in, dragging sandbags to build trenches while fighting at the same time.

Those skeletons weren’t low-level either, and there were tens of thousands of them.

Nighthowl blinked.

In the next second, endless skeletons crumbled into dust.

A massive wave of experience flooded into Nighthowl, pushing him straight past Level 5.

His body grew again. His back now stood nearly six feet tall, like a small elephant, and his body stretched close to 13 feet long.

Meanwhile, shocked cries exploded around him..

“What just happened?! Why did everything die at once?”

“Look! The Necromancer! That’s the boss!”:

“Everyone, get him! Don’t let him escape!”

“A Level-30 boss! Kill him, and you’ll level up instantly!”

“Charge!”

“Are you crazy?! Run! Do you want to die?!”

The space channel limited how strong players could be in public zones.

A Level-30 Necromancer was impossible for under-Level-10 professionals to kill. He’d been spreading the undead plague, summoning skeletons to grind people down. Anyone who died would just join his undead

army.

Now that all his minions were wiped out, the Necromancer panicked.

He unleashed a skill.

“Bone Detonation!”

In an instant, the corpses on the ground exploded.

Nearby professionals were blown apart instantly.

Nighthowl’s eyes turned red.

In his broken memories, he’d seen scenes like that before-waves of monsters, humans holding the line, dying one after another.

Humans must not die.

“Awooo-”

With a long howl, he charged forward and slammed into the Necromancer head-on.
