The Battle Queen They Blindly Kicked Out (Joanna) novel Chapter 316

Chapter 316 Path Forward

Last time, it was Nighthowl, Alwyn, and Lucien who absorbed the energy.

This time, it was Nighthowl, Alwyn, and Troy who absorbed Vivastar’s power. But Vivastar was on a completely different level. Its power was far greater than that of a normal celestial body.

Nighthowl was the next to wake up. He immediately sent feedback to Joanna.

“Your contracted beast, Nighthowl, went through life-and-death danger with you. You receive a gift from your bonded companion: Vitality +3,000, Strength +4,000, Agility +4,000, and Spirit +6,000.”

Next came Troy.

“Your contracted beast, Troy Hurlbutt, went through life-and-death danger with you. You receive a gift from your bonded companion: Vitality +6,000, Strength +8,000, Agility +3,000, Spirit +1,000.”

Joanna’s overall power surged again.

“Current Attributes: Vitality 46,000, Strength 45,000, Agility 41,000, Spirit 94,000.

In total, her attributes increased by 50,000 points.

The credit cost only doubled, but the attribute gain was nearly ten times higher.

That was the advantage of growing stronger first.

After that, it was time to divide the loot.

Most materials were easy to assign. Only one item was challenging for her-Kolvath’s Eternal Heart. It was a Mythic-tier fire bloodline, and it didn’t match Joanna at all.

Joanna spoke calmly. “The biggest contributors were Caspian and Nighthowl. But this material fits Alwyn best. Our team distributes loot based on need, so this goes to Alwyn.

“Nighthowl and Troy already absorbed the star and gained attributes. Caspian, on the other hand, put in huge effort, but none of the final drops suit him. Lucien also supported us the whole time.

“So from now on, any credits earned by Nighthowl, Alwyn, and Troy will be prioritized to help Caspian and Lucien exchange for planets they need to devour. Especially Caspian. He worked incredibly hard. He’s even lost weight.”

For over a month, Caspian had been releasing water-element power nonstop. He was the main

reason Vivastar was destroyed.

Now everyone was sitting down to split rewards.

Yet there was nothing suitable for Caspian. Joanna felt genuinely sorry for him.

But Caspian didn’t look upset at all.

“Joanna, you don’t need to say that,” he said seriously. “You summoned me here, cured my distortion, restored my sanity, and even bought me an Epic-tier weapon. I’m already more than grateful. I only regret not coming earlier.

“If all of you really want to thank me, how about letting me stay with Joanna this week?”

Nighthowl glanced at him coldly. “Not happening.”

Alwyn coughed and smiled. “I’ll just farm more credits for you.”

Troy crossed his arms. “Same here. I’ll grind extra.”

Lucien suddenly jumped up.

“That’s enough. Don’t get greedy just because you did well once. You think you can hog the queen? The four of us used to grind credits every day at high intensity just to make Joanna the academy’s top student.

“Now that you’re here, try it with us. It’s way harder than sewing clothes or storing water. In short, you’re joining our grind team. Let’s work together.”

Caspian didn’t know much about farming credits. But when it came to combat, he never backed down.

“I won’t lose to any of you,” he said firmly. “Even if I’m the last one to join.”

Joanna watched them go from talking to full-on competition. She was very satisfied.

Good. Everyone had a fighting spirit.

Then work hard and earn those credits for her.

After Nighthowl, Alwyn, and Troy stabilized their strength, Joanna led them back to the academy.

The moment she returned, she went to see Helen.

The semester had just started. Helen was guiding Summoner-class students through skill comprehension.

These students were mostly sophomores and juniors. For private questions, Helen helped whenever she could and never charged them.

“You’re back?” Helen said. “Perfect timing. What’s your plan for next semester?”

Everyone else turned to look at Joanna.

These seniors had long heard of this famous top freshman student.

Joanna didn’t avoid them. “Professor,” she said directly, “I want to take sophomore-level courses

at the same time. After the second half of the year, I plan to skip ahead and study with the juniors.

“By senior year, most students focus on internships or the Divine Battlefield, so junior year is the easiest time to double up on senior courses.

“That way, I can graduate two years early and apply directly to your graduate program.”

This was a plan Joanna had thought through carefully.

At the academy, some students struggled just to finish their studies. Others were true elites, growing faster and learning even faster.

Following the standard path was wasting time.

Especially since Joanna was already Level 41. Most students are still stuck at Level 28 or 29. Only a few had reached Level 30, and many were blocked by the Level 30 advancement quest.

A Mythic-tier class change quest could easily stall someone for half a year.

As for next semester’s freshman dungeon courses, if Joanna didn’t hold the title of Guide Maven, she wouldn’t even be allowed to enter those dungeons.
