Chapter 409 Greed God
In a blink, his head rolled off his shoulders.
With her Transcendent-level affinity, even a tiny push could tip the scales.
A Tusked Boar, strong enough to match advanced professionals, dropped dead at Joanna’s hand.
The rest of the patrol went wild.
Joanna dashed in to help.
Soon, all 20 Tusked Boars were wiped out.
Only five wild boars were left. Terrified, they bolted.
Joanna pretended to chase them for a while before letting them go.
She was playing the long game, waiting for the real prize.
She never forgot she was bait.
In just a few days, she’d killed over 1,000 aliens.
Yet, their gods didn’t show, and Francis stayed put without rushing anything.
A hunt like that demanded patience.
Then a message from Vince came through Nighthowl, who’d gone to handle other business. Joanna caught it immediately.
They’d tracked an evil god.
“Francis, I’m swinging by the Space Alliance for a bit. Back in two days. Don’t worry I can open my own space channel and drop into the Decennial Universe anytime.”
“Got it. I’ll ping you if anything happens.”
After the quick chat, Joanna returned to the Joanna Dimension,
Vince was waiting with files ready,
She hadn’t expected an evil god to be in her own dimension.
Its real name was unknown, but it had a nickname-Greed God.

Its cultists called it “Wealth Evil God.”
After the living sun died, Cedric had offered another sacrifice to the evil god. But this time, they picked a different target.
They didn’t want to put all their hopes on a single option.
Cedric had looked through a bunch of evil gods and settled on the Greed God because it paid
out.
It could hand out Starcoins directly.
This evil god was incredibly powerful.
Joanna skimmed the thick files, switched on ten-thousand-fold Comprehension, and tore through the analysis.
Killing evil gods was her thing.
“This one is quite special and interesting!”
Joanna said, “Right now, the Greed God has a lot of cultists on Fallen Star. It thrives on human greed, letting people trade lifespan for Starcoins or buy extra years of life.
“But the amount you get depends on your own ability. There’s a rule baked in.
“So, how much can I rake in?” Joanna was genuinely curious about swapping lifespan for Starcoins.
“But better safe than sorry-backup is a must.”
She pinged Helen and set a meet on Fallen Star.
Even though Helen had reached Mythic-level, she didn’t live at the academy.
Her research was tied closely to the Nightstar Group. Unless on a mission, she spent most of her time in the Joanna Dimension.
Joanna had even built Helen a palace on Oceanstar. Hastor loved the environment of that planet, which was full of oceans and water elements, making it perfect for tentacles to roam.
Helen arrived on Fallen Star without delay. Meanwhile, Joanna got to work.
She mobilized the judicators, rounded up over 100 cultists of the Greed God, and made them draw the sacrificial circle to start the ritual.

Chapter 409 Greed God
“Lord Lane, we were wrong, but we didn’t mean harm!”
“Yeah, this evil god doesn’t attack others. Its tier is low. It only trades. The Space Alliance ignores that.”
“We just exchanged some lifespan for cash. Otherwise, we can’t survive.”
“We had no choice. You wouldn’t even let us move to a new planet.”
Joanna arched an eyebrow.
“So none of you get why I won’t let you settle elsewhere?”
She laughed coldly, without a shred of pity.
“Because you’re cultists!”
What kind of good person would be tempted by evil gods and blinded by self-interest?
Under Joanna’s pressure, every one of them had a Mind Seed planted in their minds.
By that point, the ritual had already been prepared.
Joanna controlled the cultists and started the sacrifice.
The sigils lit up at once. A huge, foul, strange creature appeared above the ritual circle.
A giant serpent stretched across the sky.
Its scales shone gold, stacked like piles of coins.
A massive jar hung from its back, packed full of Starcoins.
Finished
Starcoins were real objects. They weren’t just numbers stored in the Space Alliance System.
“Hehe. My dear followers, back for more Starcoins?
“You made the right choice. Trading useless extra lifespans for precious Starcoins is a great deal.”
“You’re all at the bottom under the Space Alliance. Without Starcoins, how could you ever move up?”
As the Serpent of Greed spoke through telepathy, numbers appeared above everyone’s heads.
