The Battle Queen They Blindly Kicked Out (Joanna) novel Chapter 416

Chapter 416 Benjamin Grant

The first giant metal creature approached the summoning circle.

“You’re not the one I’m looking for.”

Finished

Joanna released a wave of affinity aura over the metal beast, reducing some of its distortion. But she didn’t form a contract.

The creature looked like a huge pangolin. For a brief moment, clarity returned to his mind. He

sent out a des Piritual message.

“Please, I’ll do anything. Please make a contract with me and become my Guide. I won’t need much soothing.”

Joanna ignored the plea and calmly withdrew her aura.

Next, a giant go

twisted sentinel appeared and let out a savage roar.

A Guide’s aura-I want to live. I want a Guide!

He rushed straight toward the circle.

The pangolin sentinel saw that and couldn’t hide his jealousy. He smashed a powerful strike into the gorilla.

“Why should it be you? Get lost!”

Joanna didn’t interfere. The gorilla wasn’t her target either.

More twisted sentinels soon appeared. Whenever one tried to force its way into the circle, Joanna stepped in and stopped it.

Soon, the twisted sentinels began fighting each other across the starry void.

At that moment, a small beast rushed in from a distant planet.

It was really “small”-only six feet tall. Back in Joanna’s old world, that would still be a large animal.

But next to the hundred-foot pangolin, the giant gorilla, and the bronze bull, it looked tiny.

Its fur was reddish-brown. It resembled a raccoon, but it was actually a rodent,

That was Joanna’s target.

It was a sentinel whose spirit form was the Celestial Hoard-Glider-Benjamin Grant.

As he approached, the affinity aura flowed into his body and quickly reduced his distortion.

The circle had already been tuned to summon him, so even more affinity poured in and cleared his mind.

He quickly dropped his beast form. He hated his spirit-form look, but he didn’t want to be a

monster.

Soon, a young man appeared in space. He was around five feet eleven with a youthful face.

He pulled a spatial button from somewhere, attached it to his body, and quickly put on a flight suit.

It was the standard uniform for space janitors-radiation-resistant and very safe.

Among all the beasts present, he was the only one who looked human.

No one stopped him. He was less than 0.5 miles from the circle. Joanna’s spirit didn’t tell him to leave either. Surprise appeared in his eyes, followed by excitement.

The other twisted beasts quickly realized what was happening.

“Stop him!”

“Why does a little mouse get to contract with such a powerful Guide?”

“I get it. Guides prefer human sentinels, not monsters. Transform now!”

After that message spread, everyone understood. They immediately compressed their cells and switched from beast form into human form.

Instantly, the beasts fighting in space turned into humans, and they all began trying to show their best side.

The brutal space battle suddenly turned into a beauty contest.

The sentinels in human form tried approaching the circle again, but Joanna’s spirit gently pushed them away.

Chapter 416 Benjamin Grant

In truth, her affinity plus spiritual link had become a soft command. None of them could disobey her will.

Only Benjamin was allowed to move forward.

Finished

His eyes flickered with uncertainty. He didn’t seem used to being chosen so clearly. Seeing everyone else stop while he kept moving made him slow down.

Then Joanna’s voice sounded in his mind.

She remembered how cute he looked earlier, and a playful glint flashed in her eyes.

“Hey, little guy!

“Don’t hesitate. You’re the one I’m contracting with!”

Benjamin heard her voice inside his mind. His expression became firm, and he kept moving forward.

The other sentinels heard the message as well, but they knew it wasn’t meant for them. It was meant for Benjamin.

Instantly, every sentinel stared at him with jealousy and hatred.

“Why him? Why does he get chosen?”

“No. A Guide needs a stronger sentinel. Who do you think you are? You’re just a weak little mouse!”

“Yeah! Come back. You don’t deserve it!”

Benjamin slowed down. He was only one step away from the summoning circle.

Then he suddenly stopped.

He lowered his head like he was thinking.

His spirit gathered and spread a message to every sentinel watching him.

“Yeah, why did the Guide choose me?”

He tilted his head. His handsome face looked innocent and pure, but a playful and cunning spark flashed in his eyes.
