Joanna had already read the guide. She moved the three flowerpots to a spot about 10 feet in front of the wooden cabin. She lined them up side by side.

A system message popped up.

“Zombies are approaching…

“Zombie movement speed is slow. Would you like to speed things up? After speeding up, monster spawn rate and plant growth speed will both increase.”

Joanna chose “Yes” right away.

She pushed the speed setting to the max.

10× speed.

At normal speed, one wave would take at least an hour.

At 10x speed, it would only take six minutes.

As soon as she confirmed the settings, the zombies spawned.

Nighthowl acted at once. He activated Celestial Gaze. A pale moon appeared in the sky, watching over the land below.

The first wave was only Level 1. With Nighthowl there, it was an easy win. The high rating also helped. That was why she got such an important plant right away.

The Banana Archer could bend its body into the shape of a bow. It attacked zombies from a distance.

Joanna planted the bananas behind the apples. Honestly, it didn’t really matter where she placed them. Nighthowl would handle most of the fighting anyway.

After planting the seeds, she used the rotten fertilizer. The seeds changed instantly. They grew at an incredible speed.

Soon, tall banana plants stood there, each about five feet high.

They formed bowstrings and arrows out of soil on their own and fired at the zombies far away.

A new message appeared. “Do you want to start Stage 2 now? Rest time after stage 1 is 5

minutes.”

Joanna skipped the rest and went straight into battle.

Those five minutes were more than enough. During that time, the apples on the ground had already grown larger.

As time passed, the fruits kept getting bigger.

Nighthowl continued attacking. More and more monsters appeared. By Stage 10, the number of enemies had jumped to 10,000.

Joanna’s fruit army also kept growing. In the end, they barely had a chance to fight. Nighthowl stopped every single zombie outside the cabin.

All 50 stages cleared. All levels cleared.
