Lesson learned: never do sexy dances.
Atlas was already seduced each time Lola met his eyes. But having her seduce him directly? Wow. Lola had a different kind of wild night — she genuinely thought she was going to die.
So the next day, while Atlas was in a very good mood (a fact everyone noticed with how his face practically glowed), here was Lola: seated behind the desk in her study, staring blankly at the documents and books she needed to read.
"It was fun... until it wasn’t," she muttered, shaking her head. "I shouldn’t have done that."
As soon as the words slipped out, she winced as a sore ache shot up between her legs. She knew his stamina was wild, but last night was different. Although she enjoyed every second of it, she would also have preferred being allowed to stay in bed the entire day.
"But well... he was happy," she whispered, touching her jaw as she remembered her original plan. "I should probably do some jaw exercises too."
She had to prepare for when this jaw would be put to good use someday.
Lola shook her head and tried to reorganize her thoughts. But even then, her eyes felt heavy and her mind cloudy. So she pushed herself up and walked to the coffee maker to prepare her second cup of the day.
While waiting, she leaned against the window and glanced outside.
There, she saw her twins playing with the black panther. Slater and Haji were with them, with the latter frozen in place like a terrified statue.
"Haha," she let out a small breath. "He’s probably scared."
Well, Renny still scared her too, even when she knew he was more or less just a normal cat... but a very big one.
"At least, Renny doesn’t bite," she muttered, her face twitching at the memory of Renny crushing her to death.
After watching them for a moment, Lola peeled herself away from the window, turned off the coffee maker, took her notes, and headed out of the study.

Meanwhile, on the small quad where the twins, the black panther, Slater, and Haji were...
Haji’s face twitched as he watched Chacha shove her entire hand inside the panther’s mouth to give it treats.
"Hey," he called to Slater, though his eyes never left the little girl. "It won’t close that damn mouth, right? She’s not going to scream in a second because she lost a hand... right?"
Snapping out of his thoughts, Slater turned and followed Haji’s gaze, only to see Chacha practically feeding Renny her arm.
"Chacha! You’ll choke Renny!" he yelled. "That’s not how you give him treats!"
Chacha paused and looked over. "But I’m offering my arm to him!"
"Chacha, you need to eat more meat until you become fat like Uncle Haji," Second chimed in, currently picking a small fight with Chunchun by his side. "Renny isn’t a dog... he doesn’t like bones."
"Aww, man!" Chacha sulked and pulled her arm out of Renny’s mouth with a sigh, but her spirit remained unshaken.
Turning to Renny, she raised both fists eagerly. "Renny, don’t worry! I’ll eat lots and lots and lots of food and fatten myself up to be more nutritious for you!"
Haji slowly covered his ears — too late to save himself from the traumatic words.
"That kid..." he muttered shakily. "That kid is a demon."
Even Slater — who adored his nephews and nieces — couldn’t help reacting. "She really is our family," he thought dryly. "No doubt about it."
But regardless of the adults’ horror, Renny nudged Chacha’s nose and licked her chubby cheeks. The girl giggled and immediately jumped into a hug.
"Renny~ love you so much~!"
At this moment, Lola arrived and heard her daughter’s declaration. She chuckled, her mood instantly lifted.
"Chacha, no hopping on Renny’s back, okay?" she called out to catch their attention.
"Okay, Mommy~!" Chacha chimed with a grin.
"Hi, Mommy~" Second waved but couldn’t run over because Chunchun was occupying his legs.
Haji: "Didn’t you say you’d be a professor if you weren’t a celebrity?"
"Correction: a hot professor. My fans told me I’d be a hot professor," Slater clarified proudly. "Handsome, sexy, and smart. My class would have full attendance. Always."
Both Lola and Haji were rendered speechless. Their mouths opened and closed uselessly before they simply shook their heads in unison.
"Hey, hear me out!" Slater whined. "It’s not like that! I’m really good at this! Come on — give me a chance! I’ll do better~!"
Nope.
They ignored him. Slater was... a lost cause.

At the same time, in Atlas’s office...
Atlas leaned back in his chair, one leg resting over the other. Rubbing his chin, he stared off into space while immersed in deep thought.
Standing nearby were Allen and Baby, waiting for his decision.
"We still have time," Allen finally said after a full minute of silence. "It’s not enough to familiarize ourselves with the terrain, but enough to prepare our men."
Baby nodded. "Knowing the area would be an advantage, but I suggest sending more troops."
Atlas snapped out of his thoughts and looked at them. He nodded slowly as their concerns aligned with his own.
"Send word to all our men," he ordered. "Let them know about the mission. Since this is a joint operation with the Bellemonte, we’ll form a new team dedicated to it."
The two bowed and left to execute his orders. Atlas leaned back again and exhaled a long breath.
"I need a better plan for this."
