The Billionaire Twins Need A New Mommy! novel Chapter 671

Chapter 671: Damn The Young Family

Lola had no idea how Atlas perceived her words so differently, but she realized that her husband was probably truly exhausted. He might not show it to everyone, but everyone knew that Atlas had barely slept since the takeover.

It was just that people were used to seeing him work nonstop. So, they no longer wondered if he even got tired. They simply assumed he was superhuman.

What Lola could be sure of was that, no matter how tired her husband was, his stamina in bed was unmatched.

"Ugh..." she groaned, feeling her body ache from last night’s rounds of passion.

As she sat up on the bed, clutching the blanket over her bare chest, her eyes wandered around the room. She instantly caught sight of Atlas standing in front of the mirror, fixing his suit.

"What time is it?" she asked, her voice coarse as she instinctively glanced at the window. It was still dark outside—hard to tell whether it was still night or already close to morning.

Atlas paused and turned to her. "It’s still early," was all he said as he approached the bed, sitting on its edge beside her.

"Rest a little more," he said, touching her cheek gently. "Henrik will be arriving today. Once our meeting concludes, I’ll check on Ashkar and see what Slater is doing."

A look of reassurance flickered in his eyes as he nodded at her. "Once everything is settled, we’ll be going home tomorrow."

Lola blinked, taking a moment to absorb his words. "Tomorrow?"

"Mhm. Tomorrow." He nodded, brushing her cheek with the back of his fingers. "Why do you think I’ve been working nonstop?"

He knew Lola didn’t want to stay away from the children for too long. So, he had been working day and night to hasten everything.

Normally, it would take months to fully stabilize a nation like Ravah. But thanks to the residents’ cooperation and their lack of resistance, the assistance from those in Halvik, the new mayor—the previous governor’s first wife—and the combined efforts of the father-and-son duo, Tomie and Billionaire, things were easier.

There were some hiccups, such as illegal land dealings, but they weren’t serious enough to disrupt the new administration.

Lola pursed her lips and smiled, her eyes softening with appreciation. She didn’t know whether she felt sorrier that her husband was working even harder because of her, or simply overwhelmingly grateful for how secure he always made her feel.

"Oh, baby. My husband is just the best at everything," she groaned as she scooted closer to him, wrapping her arms around him. She closed her eyes briefly and smiled. "Baby, can I go to Ashkar with you later?"

Slowly, she pulled back and looked him in the eye. "I’m actually a little worried about Slater. Even though you told me he’s doing fine, I haven’t seen him since we entered Ravah."

He studied her face and hummed, nodding in agreement.

"For now, rest some more," he said, placing a hand on her shoulder and tucking her in. "Once you wake up, I’ll have someone serve you breakfast."

"Mhm." She smiled as he continued to study her face.

Atlas then leaned down and placed a soft kiss on her lips. After that, he turned away, adjusting his tie once more before leaving her to rest.

After everything that had happened... it slipped my mind.

Of course, she answered in her head. If it’s with you, maybe another one would be nice.

The twins were enough for her, but if she were honest, she wanted a big family—big like the Bennets’.

"I have something to tell you later," she said. "Good luck today."

"Mhm." He nodded with a soft hum before leaving, starting his day earlier than everyone else.

When the door closed behind him, Lola let out a heavy sigh. She rolled onto her back, staring at the ceiling.

"Why do I feel nervous?" she murmured to herself. "At this point, I know Atlas would try to understand everything. And that he wouldn’t mind. If anything, he will surely reassure me that it was not a big deal."

She knew her husband that well—even if Atlas sometimes had a low EQ. Lately, he had been making more of an effort, and she could see how hard he was trying. Yet, for some reason, a sense of nervousness still clawed at her chest.

"Maybe..." she closed her eyes, "...I’m not nervous because I think he’ll get angry, but because it’s me who wants to have another child."

A child they could raise together, someone their twins could call a little brother or sister. A new addition to their family.

"Damn... the Young family."
